Autoblinda AB 611 — Fiat 611 Colonial Armored Car
The Autoblinda AB 611 (Fiat 611) was an Italian colonial armored car developed in 1932 by Ansaldo on the chassis of the Fiat 611C “Coloniale” truck, closely related to the Fiat 32 Dovunque tank-afv.com+1. It was designed for use by the Regio Esercito and the Corpo agenti di pubblica sicurezza (Public Security Guards) in Africa.
Design & Chassis
- Chassis: 6×4 triple-axle layout with rear wheels as drive and front wheels for steering

- Suspension: Leaf springs; spare wheels between axles for obstacle clearance
- Crew: 5 — commander/gunner, loader, hull gunner, and two drivers (a first for armored cars, enabling reverse movement without a half-turn)

- Engine: Fiat 122 B, 4-cylinder, 2516 cm³, 56 hp — low power-to-weight ratio (8.12 hp/t)
- Performance: ~28 km/h (17.4 mph) on road, ~9 km/h (5.5 mph) off-road; poor climbing ability
- Range: ~280 km on road
Armament
Two main versions existed:
- Machine-gun version: Three Breda Mod. 5C 6.5 mm machine guns — two in a turret, one in the hull rear
- Cannon version: 1× Vickers-Terni 37/40 mm cannon in a turret, plus two Breda Mod. 5C machine guns in the hull rear and turret for retreat fire
- Ammunition: 20 grenades for crew
Protection
- Hull: 15 mm welded/riveted steel plates; front hood with armored vents
- Crew stations: Armored doors/windows with folding panels
- Gun compartment: Side slits and pistol ports; armored door for gunner
- Rear: Armored skirts for roadwheels
Add 1 br to the AB41 its a straight up improvement with a bigger gun and already in warthunder. The AB611 will never make it into the game as enlisted never adds new vehicles. Adding more wheeled vehicles would be good both can compete with low br tanks. neither belong in the tech tree the 43 even less so byut both could make a great event or premium vehicle.
