I have noticed that the early Italian tanks (armored scout cars) AB41 would explode if just hit by a 7.62mm machine gun. Is this a glitch…?

Their armor is also super thin and where you were hitting was their ammo stowage.
(why they made a tank that can be destroyed from the front?)

Well, this may not be a vehicle to fight tanks, but it looks as if it is prepared as a counter to tanks, which will cost many misunderstood beginners. 
So, I tested it at the range.
The hand-held 7.62mm light machine gun and the machine gun mounted on the motorcycle could not penetrate the armor at the same location.
However, with the same 7.62mm loaded on the tank, it easily penetrated the AB41 armor on any tank, resulting in a 1-hit kill.
I suspect this is a glitch, but anyway, it seems that British tanks facing AB41 can be killed more reliably and quickly with a machine gun than with the main gun on it.

I know i nuked it with Crusader 57mm HE, i was very surprised.

HE always blasts the AB-41, even if the penetration indicator is red. More reliable than any AP shells.
HE also one-shots the Sd.Kfz. 234/2 in Normandy.

Yes, if you shoot AB41 with HE, it will explode no matter what position it hits.

Yeah. I remember when ab41 was an absolute beeeeach to kill. But then the crusader came and a few other changes, and it became free kill to HE
I recently discovered that, hit the AB41 with HE at nearly any angle along the body of the tank and get a one hit kill.

Only towards the front section of the tanks body with the Sherman 75. A shot along the turret or rear doesn’t work, and it does seem to work with the Sherman 76 HE either.
If you aim at the headlights in front of the AB, you can actually destroy it with just one single bullet/burst.

No, you fired on the area were ammo are the AB41 armor is to thin and a tank MG can ignite the ammo firing at that spot for some second

When I use a tank, I always try to take out the AB with MG only, just for fun.
Easy when I meet them head on.
We fire at each other, I aim my MG at his frontal weakspots.
The other guy must be laughing at first…
Maybe I am stupid or just out of cannon shells?
I wish I could see the shock on the other guys face when his pizzacar explodes.
