AA Guns and Rocket Aircraft

There’s a problem with taking out rocket armed aircraft with the AA.
If the plane runs deep enough you won’t be able to shoot it down because the AA allows no 0° angle (or at least a low enough angle).
Dilemma - if it’s gonna be fixed, people will use the AA against infantry again.

But as for one of the latest matches, the opponent pilot knew exactly about this AA disadvantage.
He flew an entire match from the beginning and never got harmed as well as not even trying to attack my AA sites…

What’s strange is when you FIRST construct a new AA gun, the barrels are pointing parallel to the ground (as if you could engage infantry).

But the moment you climb in the seat, these barrels are engaged, and are lifted to the position for ONLY aircraft engagement.

this is just a calculated play from the plane. a low angle run is going to reduce his efficiency and awareness, so he’s making a tradeoff while still being vulnerable to enemy aircraft. i don’t think this is really a problem

It’s there for the specific reason that they have to fly low to avoid AA fire. It doesn’t mean they are impossible to kill though. Set up an HMG, you’ll deal with the problem very quickly.
