The A6M3 zero is basically the same as the tech tree A6M2 besides the added drop tank. The drop tank is a cool feature but preforms average at best.
I’m suggesting that the premium and event A6M3 be lowered to BR 2 alongside the A6M2.
Well in the past was worse now it got some roll rate buff I don’t know when it happened. And it has more ammo and a bit more turn for speed and climb its better aircraft then the TT Zero prototype. But yes its not worthy being BR III the changes are too little to matter. The roll rate is the only thing I like about this variant.

Well the only argument I see is the roll rate and the ammo capacity. The F6F Hellcat is also super bad however at least it has HVAR rockets the Zero has nothing of this sort. The Zero really has one drop tank a bit more ammo and good roll rate over the TT variant but nothing stops the devs giving us real Zero in the TT. Maybe A6M5 with 1 x 250 kg bomb can be BR III but for sure the A6M3 doesn’t have enough benefits to be BR III.
I use the FP5 in my lineup and yeah the 4x HVARs are no joke aha i think it preforms well. The A6M3 is also competing against the Ki-100 which is significantly better. It’s also an event/premium so it’s considered rare.
Normally the heavy machine gun Zeros are more of a BR III material since they have some rea change in firepower the rest simply don’t offer much.
This is the Zeros that really feel different like a real upgrade. A6M3 is not really compeating against Ki-100 since it takes special slot but simply its not on its level when it comes to usefulness. At BR III A6M3 offers nothing special that’s worth it. Even A6M5 without 250 kg bomb will be bad in Enlisted. Simply enlisted is not war thunder and even if A6M3 is BR II I cant recommend no one buying it and at BR III its just waste of cash.
It also starts on the carrier too which is a downside. They should get rid of carrier spawns all together and have them purely for repairs.
No reason to keep it in br3 against br3/br4 Russian/US planes.

Hasn’t this vehicle been moved down to BR2 yet? During that event, the Japanese aircraft could carry drop tanks. The exclusive Haver vehicle was clearly the main reward, while drop tanks were hardly useful. This plane has probably been neglected because it doesn’t bring in revenue. Both the KV-2 and 88mm cannon vehicles have had their BR lowered before. I wonder if this suggestion will end up waiting half a year for a response.
Nope, it’s still somehow in BR 3 being overshadowed by the Ki-100.
I wish the drop tank was a tad more effective. It feels like even when you get a good hit most the bots will just all run out and instantly pat themselves down. If they buffed the drop tank it’d be chill for BR3 but otherwise they leave something to be desired. I don’t think BR2 is too wild of a change.
Even with a drop tank buff, i still think it should be BR 2. It’s a paid premium/event squad after all and the 7.7mm basically tickle other planes. Not to mention the 60kg bombs are pretty small too.
