A20 and the 500lb bombs, if its intended gameplay, it isnt any fun

Just better reward the player that shoots the aircraft, that’s it. More people will find it worthwhile to sit on that flak.

And yes, aircraft hp is increased too much. Had to spent all ammo on one Yak in my 109.
Believe me i know what I am doing.

I belive its 200 base scoreboard xp per plane down right now

200 base, if you down them with a premium squad it’s an extra 200, and if you have premium time extra 200. 600 base per plane kill without the final score multiplicators of 1,4 or. 1,5 if you won the match.

Atleast 1000 xp per plane kill I m getting.

As for non premium player? Agree more XP needed.

But it’s rather unreliable. 4 times out of 5, the pilot will suicide before plane crashes. I liked to play as fighter on Moscow maps but I don’t anymore. It’s not rewarding.
My worst match was “downing” 6-7 planes and only in one case I got full XP, because managed to kill the pilot. Only 3 planes where counted in score board. People jump out and shoot their own plane, or just fly out of the map range, just to deny you a kill.

what’s funny is a skilled tanker can do alot more damage than A-20, but you complaining about the lesser threat

He is complaining about bombers because there is a lot of counterplay vs tanks. Not vs the bomber atm.

The Ju 188, Bf110, and A-20 are all pretty cancerous. The Bf109s are also borderline as bad but only have one nuke bomb as opposed to 4+ so it’s not quite as bad.

I read someone mention having two Allied planes being a valid air counter and I have to say that is just sooooooo blatantly false. There is no actual way to prevent a opening run/suicide run unless you are both camping behind the enemy air spawn and also manage to pilot snipe the enemy plane before he gets over the battlefield. 99% of the time a plane will get one pass down before any other plane can respond to it.

You may say, “but you can shoot him down before his second run,” and you would be right, but consider the fact that there is no cooldown on plane respawns. All you are effectively doing is giving the enemy team a fresh spawn earlier than if you had just let the enemy plane get another run in. I remember many matches in the P-38 and P-51 where I shoot down a plane and another instantly spawns to take its place. It’s basically impossible to deny air no matter which team you are on. Luckily for the Germans, only the last airplane the US have (before this last patch) actually has nuke CAS ability.

At the end of the day, what really really needs to happen is a team wide plane cooldown time after one is shot down. Something around 20 - 40 seconds.
