It would be nice to have an additional screen on top of the main screen when playing as a tank commander showing what the driver sees.

It would make tanks a bit more realistic in how they behave.

Why? I don’t see the point. You can just swap to tank driver if you want immersion.
It’s just about the commander. That he should see what the driver sees because fully immersively the driver tells the commander what is in front of him.

You will be able to drive quite well and you still will be able to search and destroy targets.
In current system when you switch to driver you can’t engage and spot. When you are TC you may not see an obstacle on your way.
Proposed solution makes tanks a bit closer to irl by simulating crew doing multiple tasks at once.

By your logic gunner should see what commander see because commander tells the gunner where the target are.
