A way to add a matchmaker

With all this new content new and low campaign level players are at a major disadvantage. So I think a match maker would make the problem of new players getting curbed stomped by vets go away or at least be reduced.

How this would work
Players would be split upon what campaign levels they are.

For example for the Berlin campaign
People who are/ have pasted level 7 and have not unlocked level 21 will be placed in a match that only matches them against people who are in the same level placement.

But what if I want to play lower tiers?
Simply make sure you don’t have any guns, vehicles, or soldiers who are above the level you wish to face.

Example

You want to play against people who are level 0-6 and you are level 7. Make sure you don’t have any radio operators and you don’t have the G43 or SVT 40 in your line up.

Separating players by level will only result in dead zones.

This has been observed in several shooters that had leveling systems. Over time they had massive dead zones between new players and the actual community being towards the end of everything to the point they were forced to scrap the matchmaker and put everyone with everyone.

Not to mention people will play at tiers where their faction is the strongest. Germany is the strongest at level 15? People will stay level 15 germany. Russia is strongest at lvl 12? People will stay at lvl 12 with russia.

This is basic knowledge to everyone that’s played online video games before. Is this your first time on the internet and on an online game?

This is war.
ALL kinds of Matchmaking should be based on player’s skills and performances.
e.g. I can easily get 80¬120 kills even though I was on lv12 of moscow

That don’t make difference that you’ll be crushed by vets using ppd(25mag)

this will just add further imbalances to the game

instead we need to give newbies some better equipment (build rallies, trooper squad having 9 members off from start, etc…)

easier matches for them may only occur at their 1st or 2nd game if there are lots of other newbies

Imo any kind of match maker is bad.
Skill mm - turns enlisted into a competative game. That’s not what it is and, as far as I know, devs don’t want it.
Campaign / equipment mm - you want to play with bolt action rifles and for example a machine gun per squad (like me by pure coincidence)? Too bad because you will have to face full squads equiped with FG42s because MG is a high tier weapon.

The best solution would be to:
a) equally mix good and bad players
b) don’t make one weapon clearly superior to the other one, mainly low lvl vs high lvl.
But it’s basically utopia at this point.
