A way of Match Making

Instead of doing a MM by ranks or gear, why not doing it by number of battles?
A players with 200 battles would not play against someone with 1000.
It would help newcomers to get slowly introduced and given time to unlock fair gear without being blown up to pieces. As they acquire more experience with more battles they would start competing with more experienced players.

How I ever get to play then?

Can you be more specific?

I don’t think many players have battles 2000-4000 does this mean the handful could find matches few times a day?

If person that has 1200 matches is against person what could be considered veteran its the same type of result as in player with 100 matches vs 1000.

This would lead to “mass” quit or new “alt accounts”.

Edit:
But of course its not that simple either because some could coup with with K98’s easily players that have unlocked everything and are the “big bois”.

That would be nice if we had proper community, not leaving one caused by wrong decisions or not really changing the game into a fairfight on proper levels instead favouring one side or another by giving them a OP or unpenetrable weapons and vehicles.

Things would be done in brackets at the beginning and then after a number of battles and gear unlocked it would be ok to play with the rest of players base. This wont be perfect but a nice way for noobs to have a smooth take off.
Alt accounts? Not sure , it would mean re grinding everything
Mass quit? Not following

Well I personally would seek to other games If i would have issues finding matches and certainly many others.
Some crazy people might start over but your proposal would not work very well.

Game is not new even the market campaign starts on everywhere when v1.0 hits.

Alt accounts meaning faking your experience? Sure its a possibility but i dont think its sustainable long run. After all you want to play with the fun gear. Faking your experience might become boring long run and tedious in regrinding everything

I’m just stating what would happen if the matches are not to be found.
I would quit and seek other fun somewhere else.

the problem with this games balance isn’t that some noobs play in some matches with some vets

the issue is that one team is usually stacked and the other lacking, and also because quitters leave matches that also makes this issue, for many reasons

because if the match has 6 noobs and 2 vets on each team, it’s ok

the problem is when there is 6 vets and 2 Noobs vs only 2 vets and 6 noobs

and this trash BR system they putting in won’t fix anything, just turning this into the same type of trash that is other cajun products

I think matchmaking according to equipment is fine, so long as the balancing of that gear rating is fair.

Well if we really wanted to be evil…
SBMM all the way.

I’d be happy with SBMM, some of the most fun games I’ve played have been on the Assaulter IV grind in Moscow, full Marshal teams are so fun!

I am thinking of options to fiddle around with matchmaking for player, but… I don’t think it is a good idea to complicate it more than it is now.
