When you got trooper squad you have up 8 soldiers, and you realy suck using Y, what i sugesting is that isteand of you roling you squad mates one time after other we use our friedly hotkeys that are the F1,F2,F3,F4,F5 and so on. to quick get the right solider in time.
that will speed up things when you are in the middle of a combat. that is realy simple. our deveployers can do it in one aftermoon i have no douth of it, yet very usefull.

don,t get you dude. want i sugesting is that we have a hotkey that get the solider we what by simples pressing the hotkey, so if i am in the frist person in the squad. and i have a trooper squad, and what the 8 soldier, i simple press F8 and get he quick has posible.

Your idea is all right. I wish that while they implement this direct access to soldiers, they also add an option that when I switch to next guy with the already working Y key [Z for me], instead of that if I keep SHIFT pressed I’ll switch to previous soldier.
Will check in-game whether it can be done or not but I don’t think it is possible right now. And I’ll create a separate suggestion, sorry for commenting here.
