Yeah, unless they change that, i hope they wont. Because some weapons dont have proper stars for them. I just hope Semi-Autos will be as late as they can be.
Game developers have said (I should just find that topic, but whatever) that if a weapon is period correct, then they can deliver it live to the game with no problem. Due to the balance of existing weapons, and the undoubted diversity also. For a game like Enlisted, the simulation reality game model does not apply.

you think thats a problem? how about germans on the moscow campaign? best pick for the trooper class is the Czech ZH-29 rifle since it has better sights and faster reload speed than the G41. Which means germany is invading moscow with a gun that never even was part of world war 2 to begin with. At least the M1 Garand is a iconic ww2 gun!

Yeah I dont like that either. Ive been a huge proponent of bringing down the power level across the board of the game. Everyone having FG42’s and MG42’s makes having those weapons significantly less impactful, not to mention less special when you do get to use them.

I definitely agree that repeat weapons are very bad. It is lazy and makes often very little sense historically given weapons that were decommissioned or never saw presence in the campaign they are featured in. I encourage the devs to simply bite the bullet and make each campaign very unique with its own list of weapons and vehicles (let the Germans have mobile AA, unique emplacements in Normandy and m1 grand and Thompson be starter weapons, let the Battle of Moscow feature many armored reconnaissance vehicles, let Berlin feature the stranger weapon mechanics, etc)

semiautos aren’t a problem, there should be more semiautos in normandy quite frankly, at least on the allied side.
what is a problem is the manner in which everything is being done and introduced, the grind is also quite noticeable.
People like @8894782 cried on the forums about weapon jams and got them removed. They now cry about new things. The crying will never end.

I play allies lol? I would have preferred if we stuck with more historical accuracy for both sides but that ship sailed a long time ago.
