This would be a German BR2 APC as now Germany is the only faction without a Universal Carrier. Unlike other suggestions this would not be a clone of the Japanese UC or USSR UC. But instead would be closer to the UK UC with its 25MM cannon being similar to the boys AT Rifle. At BR2 the 25MM largely fixed gun would not make this a tank.
Perhaps an Italian Version can be found or even an American Version mounting a BAR LMG. I just dont want to see any more tanks pretending to be APC’s one is more than enough unless every faction gets one. A fun event vehicle that will bring more focus to non tank vehicles. Many would love to see more light truck/jeeps in the game as well as half tracks.

The problem is, we have so many options as APC that it just feels a bit stupit to add more UC to the game. Imagine Japs got an actually real Jap APC, same with Soviets, that would have been way cooler …

Maybe, but I prefer we get one with machine guns instead, similar to both Japan’s and Soviets Universal Carriers.
Tbf, the soviets getting the UC Im not against, it does make a lot of sense for them.
But Japan getting the UC is incredibly retarded, and so fucking lazy as well.

Yeah true, but what I ment was more like, Soviets have at the moment two APC’s that are landleased. Despite them having their own APC models. So, it would have been cooler to see one of those. But what your saying is true, Soviet makes some sence, Japs just do not.
I feel it is a bit of shame too, Japs have a lot to be added yet they keep getting captured stuf.
I really hope we get a future event with some actual Jap APC’s and native build Soviet one.
