A suggestion to combat new AA guns

Add the 380mm Sturm - that should take care of any AA tank fire.

You can mark these new SPAA… from the sky… unlike AA btw… however considering most players are just flying because they find it fun i wouldnt expect anyone to realize that.

how does one correlate AAs with a heavy artillery tank?

Literally just watched a youtube video about this thing being a real POS. Took like 10 minutes to reload was far too heavy for the tiger 2 chassis. Had the accuracy of a blind guy trying to headshot someone at 1000 yards.

Nah ridiculously fast overheating is already taking care of them

But when you take a whole building down, your aim can be off! lol !!!

Seriously though, it was exactly for that intent. Take the whole damn building down and bust through a city.

some off color humor …

That tells you a lot about the “quality” of YouTube videos, or in this case the lack thereof.

The Sturmtiger was actually quite effective.

Instead of internet junk I refer you to an excellent book on this subject:

“Sturmtiger: The Combat History of Sturmmoerser Kompanies 1000-1002”

Author(s): Lee Archer, Timm Haasler et al.

I read and heard where this was really effective in urban combat when troops could not bust through embedded infantry.

Why did you mention the raging tiger instead of the grizzly bear?

The Sturmtiger was a specialized solution to breaking enemy stronghold positions etc.

In that role and in the situations for which it was developed it was effective.

The Sturmtiger was to be used in the indirect fire role when there was a danger of the enemy firing on the Sturmtiger, and in the direct fire role in those rare occasions where the enemy would not be able to fire back on the Sturmtiger, such as happened for example in the well known film footage of a Sturmtiger firing in Warsaw.

Both the Sturmpanzer IV and Sturmtiger were therefore primarily indirect fire weapons, except in those rare occasions where direct fire without risk of loss of the Sturmpanzer IV or Sturmtiger was possible.
