In my book this does not justify the devs adding more historically inaccurate content especially content that never existed at all.

If
A side get a mech
B side can get a stardestroyer for what i can care about

Because if the rule is broken for A it need broken even for B, is balance

This is specifically important to me because bEnlisted is one of the only games to get the volkssturmgewehr right as semi automatic only. Pretty much ever other game to feature this rifle gets it wrong and makes it fully automatic by default.

Im dont looking other game im looking enlisted, this gun is almost usless because is the german assaulter weapon wo is supposed counter the ppd40, and is locked to assaulter only, dev dont want change this, so the most fair thing is add an event type of vg1-5 with full auto fire

No… it’s not about balancing it’s about historical accuracies and inaccuracies the two do not always go hand in hand. Adding a event squad equipped with a fiction weapon has nothing to do with balance.

I agree that the Vg1-5 is not competitive with the Soviet smgs. It should not be an assault locked weapon this is true it was not designed to fit that role. However adding an event sqaud with a full auto version of the gun doesn’t fix that problem. It has no relation to that problem whatsoever it’s an entirely separate entity.

The IS3 and even the Panther 2 existed! Neither belongs in the Berlin Campaign but they’re not some fictional entity that never saw the light of day. You clearly completely misinterpreted my analogy with the E75

Dev already added a premium tank in normandy firefly as counter of the f2p tiger, so yes add an event squad for balance can work as well

So explain to me how adding an event squad is going to further balance the Berlin Campaign. If it was a balance feature then the normal unlockable content would be adjusted.

How does that fix the preexisting issue? The F2P unlockable Vg1-5 is not competitive as an assault weapon compared to Soviet SMGs, True it is not meant to fill that roll in reality.
Sp what’s the most obvious fix? Change that weapon ingame! Make it available as a rifle or adding an alternative SMG.
Adding an event sqaud and saying ‘this fixes a campaign tree problem’ makes no sense that same problem would still exist in game the Vg1-5 wouldn’t just magically become viable instead some players who took part in event would have a new squad. What about those who don’t have it? Well I guess they’re just crapped out of luck

I still don’t agree. Maybe you think that the cat’s out of the bag and the devs should just do whatever they want but I do not. I want them to continue to focus on keeping the game fun while also faithful to the setting it comes from.

I ain’t got any problems with you wanting it. You can want whatever you like.
I’ll repeat myself since you did the same. A fully automatic volkssturmgewehr does not exist, it is a fictional idea, not a weapon that’s out of place in a campaign where it shouldn’t be.
The devs do all kinds of stuff that I don’t agree with, plenty because it’s historically inaccurate but adding content that never existed is a different ballpark.
