I have a suggestion to add a thing that occurs in real life.
Namely, when the ammunition in the tank is ignited, the fire comes out through the hatches, but in real life also through the barrel.
That’s why I postulate to add flames coming out also through the barrel, not only when the ammunition burns, but also when the wreck of the tank has already exploded and the whole thing is on fire.
And when the flames would have gone out, smoke could come out of the barrel, the same as from wrecks, for example, on the map of the Normandy power plant.
What do you think?

Shouldn’t that only happen if the breech was open at the moment of ammorack ignition?
Hatches get blown out by pressure, but the breech opens inwards, so I doesn’t look like it could be blown open by the pressure inside the tank.

You are overthinking.
We don’t do physics in enlisted.

Also the tank machine gun barrels should go red hot in 3 seconds of firing.
