I wonder how good AT rifles are in taking out aircraft in general, cuz that was indeed a nice shot

I clipped the wings of the lil german recon plane in Moscow with a Winchester, once.
I felt like a super Slav cowboy for a moment.

they’re actually surprisingly good, don’t even need to be an AT rifle. I once headshotted a Hs123 player using a Berdan II

Congratulations, it is always nice to destroy an enemy plane with an AT rifle.

they are amazing against planes.
honestly funny to see the tail of a plane or a full wing disapearing after a shot.
very effective. even against bombers on stalingrad / pacific
