Moving the battlefields in some missions has some unfair pitfalls.
Each side has a border to the rear that the opponent cannot easily cross without dying after a while.
Tanks and especially mortars are often parked there.
The mortars are the most questionable problem. The mortar hides behind the line that the enemy cannot enter and shoots at the enemy positions without being detected or attacked.
I think that in this case it needs to be improved a little. The front lines, or the area in which the fighting takes place, should simply be the same size for both sides and in the same position.
Sorry for my bad English, I’m not a native speaker. I hope you can understand in spite of what I’m getting at.
That is not possible because it is supposed to prevent spawncamping. With equal map borders sure, you could get to that annoying mortar sitting in its spawn - but other time some tank could come to your spawn and melt you faster than you can react.
Then you would have to define an area in which it is forbidden to set up the mortar.
Spawn camping would definitely be a bigger problem.
Anyway, there is room for improvement.
Mortar spammers out of all players fighting in the back do not deserve to survive to be honest with you… (mortar spamming itself is flaw in design that makes mortar overpowered, especially in invasion modes)
Frontline should take a bit longer to move, but it shouldn´t remain the same.
