A minor rant about the Special Landing Forces Pack

So I never bought any Premium Squads or whatever before but I wanted to at some point. I decided why not and bought the Pacific Special Landing Forces Pack. I was aware that the purchase would also upgrade my soldiers, but I was mainly buying it for the unique squads. And I have to say that I really like the Premium Squads; but I’m not happy with the soldier upgrades.

I don’t know about others but I’m speaking for myself and I’m the kind of player that likes grinding and slowly leveling up and getting a stronger in games. I even like the campaign system we have. I know the whole point of grinding is that one day you become a strong player, but I like the journey of slowly getting there. In this game in particular, watching my troops and squads get stronger and expand.

Obviously I have no problem with Premium Squads individually or even if I one day choose to buy premium; but I’m just disappointed that now in the Pacific all of my soldiers, squads, weapons, vehicles, and even stuff in the campaign I haven’t even unlocked yet, are already high level right off the bat. It kind of takes the fun out of it for me. I practically immediately regretted getting it. I would’ve rather bought the 4 squads individually with no extra stuff attached : (

I know its not that big of an issue but I just wanted to get it off my chest because otherwise I have so much fun with this game and really enjoy it. Oh and if any devs read this I wouldn’t mind having an option to reset our squads or something

well… you knew what you were getting to be honest

as it has been advertised.

( since, technically, this acess pack has been partially remained unchanged from stalingrad one ( outside the locked behind paywall bs )

so… i guess you should be more carefull about what you buy.

on the other hand, for me, as a half supporter of stalingrad ( yes for the xp bonus, max soldiers, yes to the newer flame squads even though initially i wasn’t gonna like them, and yes to the campaign. but no to the paywalled levels which was a huge thing ), i have/had to worry less about the grinding part was actually a relief for me and play the game. especially since those packs are a huge deal for those who like me does not have much of time to play the game.

I guess you could just make a new account and just play the Pacific if it means so much to you.
Personally I got the pack and I didn’t even notice my soldiers and weapons were upgraded because I’ve never cared about this, just it being a WW2 game.

In pacific i can reach 4 squads at lvl20.
It most of time lvl 25 on other campaign.
I like it.

And even if you consider it’s a bad stuff, it’s not a big difference between 20 and 25.

I know exactly where you’re coming from on that - takes away some of the purpose.

I have premium and that’s about right for me campaign wise - though I have nothing at max level yet. Moscow being my main I’d been working on one soldier per squad to be max level, max perk points and exacty the perks I wanted before expanding it. A lot more satisfaction.

I bought Pacific for the squads and xp bonus - but could have done without level 4 being the base level - it effectively removes one aspect of the progression and no doubt a lot variety across the game in terms of perks you go up against.

Yes, premium squads and gold troops should come max level - or pre-max - but not every single squad and silver order troop.
