A suggestion to add more options to change in custom games, such as health modifyers, bot count, invites, damage multipliers etc, and allowing exp gain in some would be to add a criteria system on what counts as a valid game you can earn exp in.
- Firstly If a custom game either fully fulfills the criteria or only deviates in a non exploitative way(if the modification done is deemed by the developers to be minor enough to not affect the exp gain positively) you get the normal amount of exp.
- Secondly if it affects the exp gain positively but not enough to completely break it you only get a negative modifier (0.1-0.9) on exp gain and an exp cap on the amount you can gain in one match.
- Lastly if the custom game deviates enough from the criteria or you are using custom assets the exp gain is turned off completely.
This will allow the enlisted community to create private matches where they can play with their friends or create custom game modes. All this without running the risk of mass exploitation by people looking to gain an unfair advantage in the campaigns.
