After playing the new changes to lone fighters, I had a few things that bother me a bit, I really do enjoy realistic and hardcore games, yet I found that some of the changes doesn’t really feel work well in the current iteration of the game mode:
-
The objectives are not visible in UI: I had found that since this change came to effect many players get lost and don’t defend the point, I think this might be because not everyone know the map do it is easier for them to get lost and not pay attention to the objective. I more mil sim types of games where there is usually a period of time before a fight where people may look at the map and figure out what the game objectives are, and in some cases there is also a player playing with a special commander class that has the tools to help the team coordinate during the fight.
Even them some of this games still feature an objective mark on the HUD, like rising storm Vietnam, which helps people to keep track of the objective. -
On hit feedback: in the regular squad game mode the feedback you get for hitting your target is a UI X on the spot, and there is also a small thick blood splatter on the hit. Yet in the realistic mode you only get the blood splatter, that is pretty visible on the white uniform but it is very hard to spot on the dark green uniform. For that reason having a sightly larger and thinner blood splatter would help a bit on knowing if you hit a target at medium range. Also for lower caliber weapons having a slightly more pronounce flinch animation on hit would help to know if you are hitting your target at sightly longer distances than exclusive CQC.

Realistic ammo indication: this comes along as information that you could have as a soldier on the front, yet it is completely absent on the realistic lone fighters mode, as a soldier you could have an educated guess of how much ammo there is on the gun based on its weight. So it would make sense to have an indicator that saids if a weapon is nearly full, half empty or nearly empty. It isn’t an exact indication but it is a helpful one. Finally a soldier would know how many mags he is carrying, so instead of having a bullet count like in squads, you could have a mag count which would let the player know how many non completely empty magazines he is carrying.
That is all, over all I just think that people should have a beer more feedback from hitting shots, and that they should have indicators for a few things that a soldier would know based on his Loadout and what he can physically tell about his gear.
