1- Panic button for AI, when pressed your AI squad to stop fighting and just run (and sprint) to your position as fast as possible.
why:
If there is an artillery strike, or we lose a zone and need to retreat, the AI would sometimes drag their feet to fire back at the enemy which will only get them killed.
2- Have the AI prioritize going through trenches, not above them if you are moving inside one.
Why:
There are not a lot of scenarios where I would want my AI squad members outside of a trench, for them to get easily picked off, yet sometimes they just run around it while I am going through them.
3- Using the command wheel, to order the Engineer in your squad to build a Rally Point where-ever the AI finds suitable in the player’s current position.
Why:
The task is somewhat time consuming, and the placement of a Rally Point doesn’t always matter that much, especially if you are in a room. Better to tell the AI to build it while you build something else or just fire back.
4- Allow Managing Soldiers in the Squad Management screen.
Why:
I want to be able to swap equipment of soldiers belonging to Squads in reserve without having to move them to the active battle squads and back out again.
P.S. huge thank you for allowing us to swap soldier equipment when we drag a solder on-top of another! Great QoL
5- When I have enough resources to upgrade a weapon, I get a green exclamation mark over it in the Upgrade button, it will disappear if I hover over it, but then it will reappear again. I would like it to stop reappearing.
Why:
Because it is annoying.
Love the game so far!

The only thing I am not sure about is that “panic button”. But other than that good ideas.
I like your ideas bro. One thing I would like to say about your 1st idea.
One of the update news, the Developers mentioned, they plan to make different SUBORDINATE COMMANDs for squads. Here is the quote:
Besides improving the overall battle performance, shooting, and threat response of your AI squad, we are also improving the command system itself.
So in the future you will be able to set the rules of engagement for your squad:
- Aggressive — Taking out enemy soldiers is the highest priority. When enemies enter the line of sight of your squad, your soldiers will immediately open fire.
- Defensive — In battle, your soldiers will try to take cover first and then return fire. This is how they are currently set to behave, and this pattern of behaviour will be standard.
- Passive — Your soldiers will only engage if they are fired at first. This will be very helpful for those of you that prefer quiet flanking manoeuvres - your soldiers won’t give you away early.
For the long term, we’ll implement the ability to give individual commands to soldiers - for example, to place them at specific points around a defensive position.
The “Panic button” is a kinda Ignore and Run command. I like that idea, cause its necessary If you retreat or wanna go rush somewhere. I have to agree. Upvote+

Oh yes, those additions will be welcome!
Why not though? Have you ever had a situation when you just needed to stop everything and run? Like when a Stuka siren is screaming? Or you are running past a street and there is a tank shooting its machinegun but your AI starts walking slowly to try to shoot at the soldiers next to it, thereby getting wiped out.
DUROV gave it a better description: “Stop Everything And Run” command.

I need a button to tell all my stupid AI squadmates with bolt-action rifles to just avoid any encounter with the enemy. They never successfully kill anyone 99.99% of the time.
Basically, the sole purpose of the AI in this game is to serve as extra lives and kill-feeding meat bags to make you feel good about yourself.
It is worst than most of the single-player game’s AI.
I’ve seen worse AI, I don’t think they’re that bad at killing, we just don’t notice it as much when the AI gets a kill.
They do however have a terrible survival instinct, they don’t take cover very well and often times just stand out in the open.
For the most part I agree that they are most useful as extra lives at the moment.
I have bought the premium infantry squads with bolt-action rifles and played for 8 hours.
They have NEVER got a single kills by themselves. Their aiming accuracy and the time they take to response are just terrible. Only submachine gun and MG can kinda compensate that.
I suppose there is luck involved, I’ve had mine help me with their bolt actions while I was bleeding out. But I am not saying they’re not janky, I believe you that they could be dumb for 8 hours straight.
