-1st Special Air Service Silenced Sten Squad should have normal helmets and boots in Normandy and the Pacific, they just look doofy otherwise…
-Give the British a default rifle like the Italians get so that when we want to use dual weapons on one of our British assaulters we don’t have to choose the springfield as the sole rifle choice. Honestly, I think allowing assaulters to use all their country’s bolt actions would be fine balance wise, and not make rifleman anymore redundant than they already kind of are.
-*unnecessary gun suggestion: 2shot Mauser 12 Gauge Bolt Action Shotgun Conversion for the Germans. Totally unnecessary atm, but I saw this the other day and thought it quite neato.
-Give the Platinum Luger the same amount of Rounds as the regular Luger…. Like how the Russian Gold C96 does with the regular C96…. Should be an easy fix.
-Give the premium Sniper G41 the ability to use iron sights… like how the Russian premium Sniper SKT-40 can use it’s iron sights… like it does when you have it mounted on something. Should be easy to fix.
-maybe add in a campaign/day by day weapon progression system somewhat vaguely similar to what WWII online has in that new campaigns are started in that game after that game’s half-scale full map of Europe has been largely majority captured by either the Allies or Axis. In that game, at different times, different weapons will be available based on how much factory production power either one side has, as well as some other factors I won’t go into here. Enlisted can’t really mimic taking towns and building and destroying factories at the moment… that’s just not the game we’re playing unfortunately or fortunately depending on your personal preferences but we can have a sort of combined Battle Rating progression system that would allow all players at different times to use or not use certain Battle Rated Weapons depending on what time in the campaigns’ progression it is.
Basically, if it’s early campaign: all players can only use early campaign weapons across the various maps. If it’s middle campaign: players can use mid progression weapons late campaign: players can use most of whatever.
The campaign can maybe be simply day by day: early in the week it’s early stuff, mid week it’s mid stuff, and late week it’s late stuff, with this whole thing starting over weekly.
Or maybe the progression could be player/team based: and the axis and allies can both possibly progress separately based on total number of points earned or wins or something. This would help encourage teamwork, playing the objective, and actually wanting to win for reasons other than personal fulfillment.
-other Battle Tier Balancing Strategy: make default Battle Tier “Competitive Learning Curve” squads(that are actually good/competitive, historically accurate, and that people will actually want to play) that will become available to everyone in relation to whoever has the highest battle rating items in that game.
So if everyone has mostly tier I and II gear, but someone has one piece of tier IV or tier V gear, everyone will be allowed to have access to the additional default “competitive curve” squads to combat that player’s possible weapon advantages.
This will hopefully help make it so that if someone takes all Italian squads into battle, but gets stuck somewhere that they weren’t, that the player will at least have the option to play more historically accurate and competitive squads.
The squads could even be tailored to different maps and campaigns: offering a campaign feel to Enlisted a bit more.
