The ability to scavenge machine guns from destroyed tanks. Ever just want to yoink that mg 34 from the roof of a destroyed tank? I mean, they probably weren’t using it in the first place. How about that browning .30 from the hull of a sherman? Never fired once, now you can change that. Stewart with 5 browning 30’s? Equip the whole squad with em!

They should make it so infantry riding on tanks, can use the MGs mounted on the top of tanks

Interestingly if it comes to that scenario, germans tanks usually carry a spare barrel, sights and stock for the MG34 if it is being scavenged for infantry use, this MG34 is called “Panzerlauf” or Armoured Barrel

It’s not entirely a bad idea, in fact it’s a very smooth, cool, and simple idea. I just don’t know if it would be a useful and common used feature considering the playerbase?
IRL soldiers did often times remove MGs from their now broken useless tanks mid combat so the squads would have additional firepower wherever they are needed. I think the Battle of Kursk came to mind for this. So it’s not entirely unheard of.
