a better way to look around in a tank.
currently, if you want to switch the vision slit you look trough in a tank, you need to scroll the mouse wheel. I think it would be better if you could press a key (for example C) which would pull the camera back a bit, and then by moving your mouse you could look around.
Historical tank sights. IIRC this has been suggested many times but I’m gonna do it here too. This could also include removing the penetration indicator.
Remove Grenade warning icon from tanks. I think it would be better to replace the current glowy grenade icon with one of the tank crewmen shouting something to warn the player, like “Achtung! Granate!” if the grenade is in killing distance. Same could be done with Mines.
Tank’s penetration indicator should not work trough bushes. I think that should be obvious
More XP for defending and capturing points. Capturing is simple, defending would be killing an enemy while either you or it is inside the cap.
More Stats for the player to look at. These would be total amount of kills, total amount of time in battle, etc.
Tanks’ movement should be a bit more sluggish, especially Normandy’s. I think there should be a slight delay when turning, and turning should be slower

Just not this one because a lot of tank sights IRL were either dogshit or are unironically hard to use (looking at the german rotating one)
Indicator is hit or miss for me. I like it very much for penning weakspots with the PzII or T-60, but the tanks with actual guns really don’t need it if they add a pen chart to the garage.
I’m thinking they should propably automatically set the range to the thing its pointing at, or that you would assing a button that set the range (like in HnG), It’s not like there’s much drop anyways in most of the guns.
They are a kind of double-edged sword, historical, but weird to implement.
Yea penetration indicator is pretty much required, it would be a mistake to remove it
The uncomfortabe sights would take some time to get used to, but they can always make a guide and/or a tutorial. It wouldn’t be so bad imo, especially if we still have the pen indicator

Don’t handhold them, but don’t go out of your way to split their wigs mechanic wise.
I agree they might not be the best, or the most comfortable to use, but it could be nice to at least give the option to use historical sights for those who want them.
I disagree fully with that one.
More stats = more peoples who wants to play for their K/d instead of the objective.
It is also less fun to play when you start to worry about things like a good k/d because somehow the most people starts to looking at a k/d first instead of reaching high points in a minute.
I have nothing against stats like Playtime, accuracy, points in a minute or just kills (so a k/d will be useless).
