Welcome to Enlisted. A game where you as new player in BR1 with your 3 man squads are put up against veteran BR2 players that love to slaughter newbies with everything they got. Assaulters, machinguns, guerrillas, booby-traps and better men, weapons and gear.
Don’t worry. If you hold out you’ll get a chance of steamrolling newbies yourself some day.
Does that sound like a game you would like to play? Probably not, but nevertheless the reality of how new players are met today.
I don’t get Gaijin/Darkflow. I really don’t. People hardly get to start playing before they are steamrolled again and again by players with superior men, gear and weapons.
It doesn’t really matter if it is semi-decent players who won’t stand a chance in higher BR’s or decent players who just use BR2 as an easy way to farm 10.000+ points a fight, because they know it is likely that they’ll be dumped into a battle with BR1. It scares of potential new players!
Every other company I know of, knows that if you wan’t to attact and KEEP customers, you don’t constantly slap them in the face and kick them in the groin. You let them in, take care of them and let them grow at least until they have invested so much that it will hurt to withdraw.
But apparently not Gaijin/Darkflow who seem to insist on this being the right way. It takes a special kind of masochistic player to like that and thus the amount of new players, which I argue could be a lot higher, is more or less equal to those that leave. At least the game won’t grow to what it potentially could.
Therefor I, once again, suggest that BR1 is changed to +/-0 so new players are given a chance to experience the game before being steamrolled by vets.
No
that be like asking for br3 to only down tier
br1 only up tiers
that is there is no br0
br 0-+ nio not enough players
unless everyone is forced to choose join any faction
we cant keep chopping the user base into smaller and smaller qs
br1 br2-3 br3-4 5
no nah no no no
br1 br 2-3 br 4 5
too many qs
thats 16 to 20 qs
now if we rplace join
germany - us - ussr - japan with join any faction only
0-+ becomes noty only possible, not just reasonable but nesasary,
5 qs only
i am sorrry but the game cannot support 16 to 20 qs
br 1-2 2-3 4-5
12 qs
either the player base has to double
or people have to give up the right to select a single faction
myself and many peoplwe are not waiting in q 10 minutes
Every BR to +/- is the only functional option. Having only BR 1 in +/- would mean that BR 2 never gets downtiers and only uptiers so nobody would play it which would result in a chain reaction where no br is worth playing besides BR 1 and BR 5.
Players keep requesting, dev’s keep ignoring, just like with the player controlled AI bots and Soviet body armor. At least IMOP, the Dev’s have no intention on making changes to any of these.
the same thing that will happen if they have to wait 10 minutes
if and only is br1 is the only hard separated br nothing much happens but if br4 gets there way
Then fill the games with bots.
Now, when a player leaves midfight, it is most likely a bot that takes over. I don’t see why a BR1 game couldn’t be filled with bots. They are most likely just as good as the average new player so the experience would be the same.
I keep hearing that the playerbase won’t support BR +/-0 in all BR’s.
But if we don’t start somewhere to grow that playerbase, we’ll have to stick to unfair games where on team is having a lot less fun that the other because of downtiered or uptiered players.
again
br1 br2-3 3-4 4-5
bots work cause youre right at br1 bot player little difference
but then br4 wants br5 tyo be seperat
then b3 from 4
then 2 fronm 3
abd suddenly the playerbase has the same number of player divided by twice as many qs
then pc players want there own qs
then people want to choose there battle
the player base is not infiniote
so just say this only br1 deserves its own q
br4 can fight with br 3 4 5
If, and I say if, BR1 is kept seperate from BR2 it could mean that more players stick to playing Enlisted instead of running of screaming.
That could, hopefully, mean a lot more players stick to playing Enlisted and advance to BR2 and, hopefully, they are able to get their seperate games as well.
Or advancing to BR2 could come with a big fat warning about entering games where you will encounter BR3.
That could perhaps bring BR1 players to unlock a few more BR2 squads and gear so you don’t have to fight BR3 games with someone who has just unlocked one BR2 squad but mostly is still running around with BR1’s.
And I say that they playerbase won’t grow to what it could when we keep hammering on new players.
I do belive that it would be more fun for everybody if every BR was +/-0, but I acknowledge the fact that the playerbase won’t support it. The change is supposed to enlarge the playerbase by allowing people to get into the game instead of getting hammered on by veteran players right from the start.
i approve of just br1 seperate
i do not prove of br-+0
double triple the wait time see the player base flee
imagine you jusy got to br 2/3 for japan
you wait for 10 minutes to play them
and have a five to ten minute game, unistall
We had separate campaigns and it worked and it was fun, we had more players yes, but I think enlisted is bigger than some people give it credit for.
PS I miss being able to play pacific campaign as a separate Que.
which changes nothing it easily take 1-4 minutes with join any faction depending on the br
how long do you think it will take if you choose japan at an unpopular br with 0-+ matchmaking
ok make a bet 6 months of 0-+ matchmaking
if player count goes down and continues to decline at an accelerated rate
if q times increase drastically and dont noticeable recover
they remove join x faction from the game
so join any faction only but you keep -+0 matchmaking
Enlisted is friendly enough to new players. Due to the presence of bots, you’re always able to make some kills, even as a complete newbie. Very different from HLL or old Red Orchestra were you, as a newbie, are being slaughtered without even seeing an enemy.
As far as i know, new players has just started on BR 1 doesn’t get uptiered to BR 2 and pretty much playing in bot only matches or matches with only a few players present, don’t know exactly how many matches would be like that but yes.
But let’s suppose we make BR 1 to 0+/-. All seal clubbers will gather on BR 1 instead because you will have seal clubber’s paradise there as they no longer have the risk of getting dragged up to BR 3 if they were playing BR 2. They will always play in BR 1 games only where new players are the most abundant. If this issue has to be fixed then there should be some other dedicated system for this other than just make BR 1 0+/- because potentially, that would make things even worse.
Uh no? Br 2 and 3 are by far the most popular. Each of which offers very different gear and fantasy gameplay. People (myself included) would still play br 2 if 1 got it’s own matchmaking. Which should be a thing. There’s nothing wrong with having a few players on both sides one br higher.
