A balance MM suggestion

So, iv played this game for about… half a year now i guess, on and off. Had to make new account recently as im a steam user.

Iv found it strange that after getting to campaign level 3, i started noticing i was getting slammed by Pz3Ks, direct mortar fire, artillery barrages, and even got dinked by AT and some kind of quick Det explosive thrown at me.

So, i came to the conclusion after looking deeper into this, that these people are MASSIVELY ahead of me in the game. im over here on campain level 7 currently. and im fighting people at twice to three times my capaign level.

So, after looking after all this and that. I was wondering how a balancing system could work for this game.
-Personal ranking
-squad ranking
-campaign ranking
-or equipment ranking

So. Thinking this out. Personal Ranking is a BIG NO as we all seen CSGO and games like that.

I looked over Squad Ranking, and this could REALLY be used if refined here and there.

Campaign ranking might be the largest hold down for MM-timing, and the devs will always make the excuse for wanting to decrese the already average 3 second MM-timeing to less than that.

Equipment? Well if this was the case than the total average equipment would need to be added up into a sum by each squad, then given a COF of the total points to represent the character. This could be an issue for balancing purposes. a squad of 10 riflemen with M1Garands vs a squad of 4 with an AT soldier, radio operator, SMG gunner, and an engineer has different weight to it. Balancing issue.

So out of all of this. I think squad levels should be able to be taken into account for a balanced MM.
subcategorize them by the level they come out.
For example. Lets say… the US, Level 14 Sniper II squad would be level one on release, but be bloted in ‘Battle rating’ to accommodate its superiority over the normal Sniper 1 squad at level 0. Not by much, but enough to make sense.
And if youre using a squad from level 14, than youre other squads would have buffed levels already by that point.

Dont worry about fighting lower level players as its kind of a BR system from WT. Doing will be for everyone, as ik that you can still level up for doing little each game if youre bad. but so will everyone else.

Further more, your ‘personal BR’ for this would also be edited by your campaign level. For example, im level 7 campaign. my Engineer Squad is Level 30. because of this, there would need to be another coefficient to say something like: ‘-0.5 per level over Campaign level’
This will help lower people down that arnt very good at the game so they dont get carried away by dumb leveling.

Grind is not that hard, I am already level 18 on US+ 20+ on Axis

No, I like higher tier equipment being thrown at me, that forces you to think how to get rid of the enemy in a different way.

I also agree that you should not fight against people who have the full campaign and all the soldiers at level 5, but I think the game is still to be done and I think they put us all in the same bag.

In warthunder you know that the BR is not perfect and in tier 4 you play with players of a higher level for sure for example

It is certainly giving me a very frustrating experience as I only come into this game.
I have been facing arty/mortar spam, fighting Pz III/T-28 in my beginner tank and facing bomber/rocket spam. I honestly enjoying fighting along side those higher ranking machine/player as it is a great learning experience. However, there are lots of time with one side full of high rank unlocked players while other side don’t even have an engineer or assault squad. And it usually end up extremely boring for either sides as the match tend to end in less than 5 minutes or become an Exo farming fest.
I think a team with mixed rank (limited spread) would be more interesting but it have to happen in both side, the opposite side should have queue the same numbers of players of similar setup and unlocked rank as a counterpart.

I’ve said this a lot on here. No matter what you decide to do for MM, people will game the system to stomp the noobs. Its also a terrible idea to punish people for using better equipment. Every player can contend up against top tier players with everything unlocked after just a few hours of gameplay.
