A 4 person tank squad isn't exactly a "Lone Fighter"

Either the devs are a little dull or it needs to be hotfixed. One way or the other, 4 person tank squads don’t belong in Lone Fighters. You can just spawn a tank, Exit vehicle, and then have a 4 person squad while everyone has 1 person. Duh.

I mean, if you couldn’t tell, one person can’t crew a whole tank effectively. If they did put it down to one seat, then the tank would immediately die when that crew member dies, instead of when they all die.

^ yep, that’s the entire point. Tanks shouldn’t be in Lone Fighters period. It’s a squad of 4 people. You can load all 4 of them up with MP40s, nades, etc, Exit the tank, destroy the tank and let your teammates do the same thing, until your entire team has potentially DOZENS of full squads roaming around vs solo players.

Yup,real player should be able to control the tanks not bots(on Lonefighters mode)

So I have not played a whole lot of LF battles, but during the time I have played them, this has never happened.

However, a simple solution would be that the crew can only exit the vehicle if it is damaged. Or if the tank is destroyed but the crew survives, have the crew be split into individual squads. IE: Leaving the player with control of only one tanker and the rest become normal bots not following orders of the player.

Or just go in arcade style by having one tanker ability to take control of the entire tank (Shoot, drive)​

It’s a nice thought, but consider the difficulties and lack of use in the implementation of squad voice chat cannot in good conscience make a multi player crewed tank work. Think of games like Post Scriptum or HLL who’s very fabric relies on coordination, Enlisted doesn’t compare to that in regards to it getting many of the sorts of players who just wanna have fun. Also, lone fighters and this issue is only in lone fighters, so some sort of way to disable or enable it would be good.

yep.

i find it quite convenient to do my own buisness while ordering my bots to wait on a point or wait in the tank.

but when it comes to tank fights. it would be quite odd with one person manning the whole machine.
