I’ve just got the A-20G-25 US attack aircraft. I am quite good with the dive bombers but can’t seem to hit much with this, Not sure what I’m doing wrong, I do manage to damage my own plane with splash damage which suggests I should be releasing from a greater height. Don’t know if i should be dive bombing in this or just release as I pass over. I have no idea where my bombs are landing so i can’t judge my aiming. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

I use it in shallow dives and drop my load at low altitude. Never got blasted by my own bombs, the damage you take is probably from infantry fire (both players and AI will shoot at you while you are close enough).

bombing now messed up on high speed since it travels with you and kill yourself with them.

This is true yesterday i tried this bug? In the practice area after drop a bomb 1 sec after the plane took fire and explode

From the ground if a plane thanks to this bug fail a bombing run i dont complain

In my experience you can dive bomb with it, but dont get too close to the ground like you dive bomb using stuka or figther to avoid the bomb blast.

I think recent patch changed bombing - bombs seems to fly a lot straight forward now, after you release. Bombs used to go straight down, but now they fly with you for a bit, feels like.

It’s weird, I don’t think the physics are right. Yeah, devs - check out bombing on A-20, and how bombs land. You can hear them flying and whistling, for a while, even at point blank altitudes.

I’ve been missing a lot of a-20 bombs recently.

I’ve tried testing where the bombs land, and they seem to overshoot, BUT devs need to test this, we don’t get the outside cockpit view, can’t tell precisely how bombs are landing.

The air bomb has a bug.

There is actually a (bug?) with Ju-188 that when you fly high and drop your bombs, you literally kill yourself.
While dropping bombs in low altitude, doesnt give any damages.

Same cruising speeds.
