Most scopes in the game and ww2 were between 2 to 4 times magnification. 8x models existed but were rare and highly specialized instruments. one way to power up snipers is to give them range. the downside is increased tunnel vision and time take to acquire a target. but hitting a target so far you have to take travel time into account is just, perfect. Japan is more a joke but Germany and the us can share.
