Yesterday this was posted on reddit; 15 players on enemy team, zero bots

Would have to do a deep dive here. I THINK that a new player can join when another player leaves, who was already replaced by a bot, within the first few minutes. And when the new player joins, the bot doesn’t just despawn, their squad exists until killed, and then they just don’t respawn after death.
My guess is several people quit (cowards!), were replaced by bots, early enough that newly queued players were added, and the bot squads simply survived long enough to still be in the game by the end. There are quite a few low squad death players there that that could be the case.
But quitters/deserters are visible when present, and here there were none.
The enemy lobby was filled with 15 humans, zero bots, zero quitters, zero deserters.
you appear to be correct. The plot thickens…
It appears that this case might be the exact opposite but exactly the same as what i mentioned.
Instead, there were no deserters, rather, the game started maybe 10v5 or something, with bots filling the extra 5, but were quickly replaced with Yoomans. The bots being replaced either survived, or at least aren’t counted as “deserted” the way real players are.
It would be mega helpful to get a match ID to check who is Bot and Not. But i think it’s this.
