My newest rant… I was playing in Tunisia trying to take a cap point. The downstairs is the cap point, so I run up the stairs on the outside of the building, and wait on the outside till I can visually see my bots running up the outside stairs, knowing that if I didn’t the dumbasses would just run in the front door and instantly be wasted. I have a nine man rifle squad, and in total disbelief, I got all nine men upstairs alive. I place the X on the middle of the floor and proceed halfway down the stairs so I can fire around the corner on the enemy below, then I notice a soldier running around me downstairs and realize it was one of my bots. Then another, and another, and another till literally SEVEN OF MY EIGHT BOTS had left the ordered stay point just to run and die. WTF is this? Why do we have to put up with crap like this? BTW, they were all ordered to be in close formation, so there was ZERO reason for any of the bots to move, yet, they did, almost an entire damn squad.
I continue to scratch my head and swear at my computer screen at the absolute crap we have for bots. Either fix them, or just admit what we all know, Gaijin is incapable of making them better and they are for cannon fodder only.
If you look, you can clearly see the X on the upstairs floor, so there was no reason for my bots to take it upon themselves and go downstairs. NONE>

Did you consider making a list?

Individual commands work better
Also if your bots are set to aggresive they will try to search for enemies if shot at and stop to shoot at enemies they spot

Your soldier has main character plot armor, simple as. So I’d say you’re lucky. And of course, the radioman survives. But in the story he’s actually a rookie and dies the next few minutes into the plot. So yeah, that’s pretty normal. Just another Monday in Enlisted.

Least you had less of a squad to co trol, gosh… 9 man crew way too much for my simples head to manage, and hands haha… well, unless the price is right
I use Individual commands all the time, and my bots wander off as well. I’m guessing one of their updates created this issue and they haven’t fixed it.
Are they set to aggresive or passive?
Because bots set to aggressive will investigate shots and stop if they see an enemy. I had bots run off dozens of meters just because they saw an enemy and decided to square up
In 90% of my battles, my radioman always dies first. He could be stored in the lowest level of a bunker, yet will find a way to die.
It has been much worse lately, so if they attempted to fix something they went in the wrong direction. I played another game last night where I had a six man squad. I saved all of them in the back of a room around the corner out of harms way (SUPPOSEDLY). I built a rally point and an ammo crate, went around the corner to shoot out a window at the enemy acrost the street, then I noticed the door next to me kept opening and soldiers were stepping out shooting. I first said to myself, damn, I shouldn’t have built that rally point so close as people are spawning and opening the door, then realized it was MY BOTS doing it, and dying one by one. So, I saved six and all five died going to the door and trying to shoot out. I DO NOT have my bots set to be agressive either. I tried shutting the door a couple times only to have the damn idiots keep opening it just as soon as I closed it. So, if the Dev’s did something, it clearly is not working. I don’t want mine to fight, just hide and stop getting in the way. That’s it, no Rambo, no Terminator, just cowards that live to fight another day.
My bots are all suicidal and have death wishes.

Yes, there are now many bots disobeying the commander’s orders like this; I suggest they be executed immediately.
