50%+ Ammo Perk

Erika I do run out of ammo Alot even on 200+ ammo cap weapons.

The issue ain’t how efficient our aim, or if there’s an eng or not. It’s just our way of playing…

ask for ammo, ( which sucks to play in your servers if not even one soul manage to place at least one ammo box ) or switch squad.

maybe… suggest for spawns with pre builed ammo boxes or something?

Why should I die if I can take 20 30 or what ever more soldiers /cap point with my current position or live.

Makes no sence what you stated…yeah tickets or soldier lives are worthless but still, I rather take one more than die just to have ammo

i don’t see why ammo carriers should wonder around the map filled with lots of magazines?

if team play was low previously, this would surely improve it.

i never mentioned about suicide or thought about it, but… i suppose it’s also another alternative.

btw you still can build ammo boxes around the map in corners, most player dont notice them/dont care about them.

Big grenade pouch should also be removed tbh
More than once change can and should be made at a time

that " die " implies to throw your self taking as many enemy as possible leading ( eventually ) to your death.

I don’t see what’s wrong with the ammo perk. IF we put it in wisely.
Sturmgewehr said a problem. Good perception. Extra ammo and 3 grenades are not good. But it can be solved. For example, if ammo perk requires 16 gun handling points. So it’s unlikely that even the throwing perk will can equip too. You may have extra ammo and grenades but then you throw them like a retiree. Or the ammo perk closes one grenade slot. Or two. You can choose to have a lot of ammo, but not a grenade. It could also cause negative effects. More ammo- more weight- movement penalty.
Aside from random perk points, the current system works for me. But it can still be expanded. Just always have to think about the consequences. I also have a new perk idea, for example: faster main gun or mg reload into the tank. Or faster mg cooling. Or slower overheating. But it wouldn’t be a bad thing to start with if it mattered if there was a loader in the tank at all.

you probably weren’t playing in enlisted during the alpha.

long story short,

back in the alpha you were able to have 5 to 6 slots ( to put medkits, repair tools and grenades ) while having the possibility to use perk to enhance ammonutions.

although it wasn’t necessary because back than, standard ammo for everyone were like the current soldiers with at least the smal pouche.

so we had supersoldiers with lots of ammo and throwing 3 det pack every time.

“we” used to call them " supersoldiers ".

i guess there’s a reason why that is no longer the case and backpack/pouches got introduced.

No, I didn’t play alpha. But as you can see, the situation is different. Like you said, the current base ammunition stockpile is smaller and a bag is required for 2/3 grenades, which eliminates extra ammunition. It can’t happen that you say there’s a lot of ammunition and grenades in these people. This or that. But not two at once. Limitation is the point. And based on my idea that the ammunition perk excludes the grenade slot, there is also no supersoldier problem. What you outlined, like the alpha, is a typical case of recklessness. But this system is no longer the same.
I understand your fear. Because it’s legitimate. No one wants super soldiers with 600 rilfe ammo + 3 grenades. But, currently the explosives are the big problem in the game. Not a lot of ammunition. If there is a limit to whether you choose this or that, you cannot develop what you are afraid of. On the contrary, it increases variety. If someone sacrifices his grenade and/or other perk to get extra ammo while still dying from a single shot, I still don’t see what’s wrong with that. That’s what I think. Then it’s up to the developers to decide who’s right.

What???
You need 2 bullets to drop and 2 to finish off your opponent without regard to misses, hitting limbs and shooting at range.
For full auto weapons, 60-70% of the shots are misses because dispersion
