Unlike a standard paratrooper unit this unit would come equipped with mortars. The shorter barreled mk5 2 and 3 inch mortars of the UK and commonwealth. they would have a shorter range than standard mortars of equal size. instead of selecting weapon type you would select ammo type, smoke, he or phosphorus. to compensate for the decreased range the type 5 will havean increased rate of fire.
2 inch mortars can be uuse br 1-5 and 3 inch 4-5 but only one size can be used at a time no mixing and matching. a possible idea is to use illumination rounds to highlight enemies spotted by team mates not to spot them themselves. or to make it easier to spot prone or hidden enemies in bushes that have fiired there weapons or in some way given away their position.
