Yesterday there was a mini update (like 15mb on pc).
2 small changes I noticed so far:
- Mortars now sound like cannons
- “Hide deserters” option below the scoreboard is now gone

If you haven’t already seen my previous posts about it, I REALLY hate deserters.
My last game would’ve been a win if it wasn’t for them.

Can’t really do much about them, sadly. The desertion penality doesn’t work, especially with people who have everything unlocked, fixing the matchmaking wouldn’t work, because there would still be people looking for easy matches and they’d quit upon their first death…

It won’t work until we have proper map picking. People don’t want to spend their limited time each day playing Gavutu airbase

I mean, based, but even then, some people would still quit after “struggling” a bit during a match.
That’s some dumb shit. If I play a game, I play to the end (as long as its a map I like). I don’t care about playing well or winning (I usually get somewhere around 30-40 kills and 4-8 deaths per game) I just want to have fun and get immersed in the game. 90% of the time I go in wanting to play a specific campaign (usually Normandy) Any map or mode, even conquest. That is why I leave, I only have 1-3 hours each day as of now, and I want to have fun in that time.
Going back to the whole immersion thing, that’s also why I get a brain tumor every time someone recommends a prototype for TT, games are fun when I can get lost in them, can’t do that when I see fictional stuff

I guess it’s not much more than they can do. Adding weapons is probably easier than making new maps and they’re running out of weapons to add. Hell, half of the Japanese TT is prototype stuff that has never seen combat or had more than 5 weapons built.

Clanners and provers hate deserters because playing Enlisted for fun and not forced is gay and want us to remember these names for some reason.
