was I currently downloading an update of 180 mb? any details anyone?
I got the same thing; Enlisted seems to get a lot of stealth patches. Pretty sure the last ~200mb patch before this one was the one that expanded malfunctions to more weapons.
Would have loved to at least have patchnotes on what weapons malfunction now but no. bad practice imo.
I really wish the devs would let us in on the stealth patches, even if it’s for meaninglessly small fixes. I just wanna know what’s going on lol
The lack of communication on any level is distressing and like tcat says, bad practice.
Well I didnt received any patches. One of my friends said he received two patches. Perhaps the second patch rolled back first one?
any stealth update is bad for any game…
So what was that 180b update then??
I think the update was only for minor bug fixes which are invisible to human eye
I didn’t even notice it!
That would not be 180MBs. Most code files are <1MB (as an update would require you to download all changed files). I doubt they fixed 180 microbugs.
I didn’t see any drastic changes. Maybe they introduced something but it is not playable right know, maybe they are preparing for OBT.
Could be updates to Normandy.
Actually, probably is.
If we are not writing a patch note, then this is a technical update that does not affect players
Don’t worry about it.
That’s a silly thing to say - players always worry about uploads!!
I’d argue 180MB does affect players that want to play the game but have abysmal download speeds, at the very least
And tbh, most of the time, there is no real patchnote. Only update notes like “added new location”, “changed gun stats”, and other unclear, ambiguous info.
Like that 20% damage buff of Soviet guns across the board a while back, which was never really cleared up.
We have to do a lot of technical patches while our game is in CBT. This is a chance to check game mechanics and collect statistics. We are very grateful to the players for playing and writing reports. We plan to release a post on the forum soon.
Looking forward to it.
