Panzer crews/stug/panzerjager crews where also being given pea dot uniform variation (wrap around)
In spring 1944 most panzer/panzer granadier divisions where being given the M44 pea dot uniforms, priority being Panzer Divisions (12th ss was hitlers 2nd favourite division so i’m sure it has been given priority)
I read a book about the 3rd SS in russia, memoirs and reports state that in late 1944 early 1945 panzer crews where rolling back to the black panzer uniforms because the thin pea dot uniforms where not keeping them warm enough (obviously xD)
but yeah 12th was a Division always getting latest equipment so most likley a large percentage of them would have had pea dot uniforms.
