11.06.2026: Enlisted 40% premium unit discount for 7 days in the Xbox Store

For those of us that also play on the Xbox:

Totally unexpected, and without any official announcement that I am aware of, has a 40% discount become active currently for a period of 7 days for Enlisted premium units in the Xbox store.

That does not happen often!

While the 40% discount is fine and nice, the way all this has been communicated by Gaijin to Enlisted Xbox platform customers is not so nice, to use an understatement.

On 30 April 2026 the May Sale for Enlisted was announced by Gaijin:

In that sale announcement the following was stated by Gaijin:

Imgur

In other words 6 premium units were announced to be withdrawn from “PURCHASE ON ALL PLATFORMS” on 11 May 2026. On all platforms = PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

As a result of this announcement by Gaijin we bought 4 of these 6 premium units at FULL PRICE for the Xbox. As a general rule we do not buy premium units at full price because generally all premium units in Enlisted are vastly overpriced, even when a discount is applied.

To our astonishment it then became clear that these 6 premium were NOT actually withdrawn from purchase on the Xbox after 11 May 2026. So we had bought them at full price on account of misleading and even false “official” information by Gaijin.

That is no way to treat your customers and this is really an unethical way to do doing business, to use an understatement.

Again to our astonishment on 11 June 2026 a 40% discount in the Microsoft Store was announced by Gaijin:

where it was again stated that:

In other words the same 6 premium units were announced by Gaijin to be withdrawn from “PURCHASE IN THE MICROSOFT STORE” on 17 June 2026.

And now those same 4 premium units that we bought at FULL PRICE in May 2026 on account of false and misleading “official” information by Gaijin are for sale with 40% discount in June 2026.

Needless to say we would have waited for the Xbox discount if we had been informed honestly and truthfully by those at Gaijin responsible for “official” communication regarding Enlisted.

The “official” May 2026 communication by Gaijin was intentionally false and misleading, as a result we bought 4 vastly overpriced premium units that we could have bought now in June 2026 with 40% discount if the “official” communication by Gaijin had been honest, truthful and forthright.

So you at Gaijin responsible for all this can rejoice in having duped your Xbox customers into buying premium units at full price on account of false and misleading information.

If that is the way you want to do business then do not be surprised when your Xbox customers lose interest in a game made by a company that resorts to such unethical business practices.

I repeat: This is no way to treat your customers and this is really an unethical way to do doing business, to use an understatement.

Thank you so much for this announcement. So cool. Bought several Units.

Thanks so much!

Who are ‘we’?

Do you represent a whole group of Enlisted full-price buyers or something?

In our household more than one person plays Enlisted on several accounts, that is the “we”. So “we” play Enlisted on two accounts, one PC account and one Xbox account. So “we” in our household buy things for Enlisted for two accounts, for the PC account and for the Xbox account and “we” try to have both accounts have the same premium units. “We” try to buy them when there is a premium unit discount because everything in Enlisted is way overpriced as it is, even when it is on sale.

What Gaijin did here with these two latest Enlisted discounts is simply not being truthful to their Xbox Enlisted customers, to use an understatement. What Gaijin did with the messaging of the April 2026 and June 2026 discounts is a clear example of unethical business practices towards their Xbox Enlisted customers. In April 2026 Gaijin “officially” announced to withdraw certain premium units from purchase on all platforms, which includes the Xbox, which they then did not. And these premium units were NOT DISCOUNTED on the Xbox in April 2026, meaning if the Xbox customer does not buy them NOW (= during the April 2026 discount) then that Xbox customer will not be able to buy them in the future with any degree of certainty.

That way Gaijin tricked their Xbox customers into buying “not discounted” premium units, in other words buying them at full price. After the April 2026 discount ended these premium units were then NOT withdrawn from purchase on the Xbox, so the Xbox customers were tricked and Gaijin made money based on the untruthful April 2026 “withdrawn from purchase on all platforms” statement.

Then in June 2026, so now, these very same premium units that have still not been withdrawn from purchase on the Xbox ARE OFFERED WITH A 40% DISCOUNT. So that means Gaijin gets to make money twice on these very same premium units on the Xbox.

In April 2026 Gaijin tricked the Xbox players that can spend the full amount on the premium units into buying them at full price via the following untruthful statement: “PLEASE NOTE: WHEN THE SALE ENDS, THE FOLLOWING SQUADS WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON ALL PLATFORMS:”

That untruthful statement tricked “us”, so our household, into buying several of them at full price.

After the sale ended however Gaijin DID KEEP THESE SAME PREMIUM UNITS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON THE XBOX.

So all the Xbox players that believed the official Gaijin statement and had the money to buy premium units at full price, were tricked into buying them at full price because of the untruthful April 2026 Gaijin discount statement.

In June 2026 Gaijin tricked the Xbox players that only can or will buy premium units at less than the full price into buying them at a 40% discount via the following statement: “PLEASE NOTE: WHEN THE SALE ENDS, THE FOLLOWING SQUADS WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN THE MICROSOFT STORE:”

That is simply no way to treat your Xbox customers from an ethical point of view.

So those at Gaijin responsible for all this can rejoice in having duped their Xbox customers into buying premium units at full price in April 2026 on account of false and misleading information.

Currently “we” are looking into what can be done about this. Either by law or via Microsoft because it is more than likely that contacting Gaijin customer support about this will lead to nothing.

What Gaijin staff did here is simply “not done” from an ethical point of view and sadly most Xbox customers will likely never become aware of how Gaijin operates towards their Xbox customers. Maybe this should be posted on an Xbox forum to make more people aware of what Gaijin is doing here.

Needless to say the absence of a reponse on this subject by anyone representing Gaijin on this forum is telling.

Please keep me updated on exactly the kind of action you took, apart from writing this very long, angry post.

I am very curious about the exact Actions.

What?
