Totally unexpected, and without any official announcement that I am aware of, has a 40% discount become active currently for a period of 7 days for Enlisted premium units in the Xbox store.
While the 40% discount is fine and nice, the way all this has been communicated by Gaijin to Enlisted Xbox platform customers is not so nice, to use an understatement.
On 30 April 2026 the May Sale for Enlisted was announced by Gaijin:
In that sale announcement the following was stated by Gaijin:
In other words 6 premium units were announced to be withdrawn from “PURCHASE ON ALL PLATFORMS” on 11 May 2026. On all platforms = PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
As a result of this announcement by Gaijin we bought 4 of these 6 premium units at FULL PRICE for the Xbox. As a general rule we do not buy premium units at full price because generally all premium units in Enlisted are vastly overpriced, even when a discount is applied.
To our astonishment it then became clear that these 6 premium were NOT actually withdrawn from purchase on the Xbox after 11 May 2026. So we had bought them at full price on account of misleading and even false “official” information by Gaijin.
That is no way to treat your customers and this is really an unethical way to do doing business, to use an understatement.
Again to our astonishment on 11 June 2026 a 40% discount in the Microsoft Store was announced by Gaijin:
where it was again stated that:
In other words the same 6 premium units were announced by Gaijin to be withdrawn from “PURCHASE IN THE MICROSOFT STORE” on 17 June 2026.
And now those same 4 premium units that we bought at FULL PRICE in May 2026 on account of false and misleading “official” information by Gaijin are for sale with 40% discount in June 2026.
Needless to say we would have waited for the Xbox discount if we had been informed honestly and truthfully by those at Gaijin responsible for “official” communication regarding Enlisted.
The “official” May 2026 communication by Gaijin was intentionally false and misleading, as a result we bought 4 vastly overpriced premium units that we could have bought now in June 2026 with 40% discount if the “official” communication by Gaijin had been honest, truthful and forthright.
So you at Gaijin responsible for all this can rejoice in having duped your Xbox customers into buying premium units at full price on account of false and misleading information.
If that is the way you want to do business then do not be surprised when your Xbox customers lose interest in a game made by a company that resorts to such unethical business practices.
I repeat: This is no way to treat your customers and this is really an unethical way to do doing business, to use an understatement.
