10 rounds for MKB

sIG is love, sIG is life, in sIG we trust

Perhaps br1 then, I didn’t want to push my luck is the only reason I said br2.

I said like 3 times already that this is a 10 round mag - which is stupid and would make it a BR1 gun and as such has no place in this game.

15 rounds isnt much better, but this is a fantasy mag and should be corrected non the less.

That’s why they should make it a rifleman gun and place it at BR2. At least it wouldn’t compete vs assaulter guns.

If it’s at BR3 and used by Rifleman then it would need some massive buffs to all stats and since Gaijin is too lazy for that just do what i suggested above.

this is gonna get some butthurt but: its overall better for the game to have this mkb with 15 rounds than 10 rounds.

with 15 its barely playable on br3, as there is a very similar mkb with 20 rounds… AT BR2.

giving a full auto weapon only 10 bullets is close to useless, and that would force the weapon to be stuck in br2 (bc gaijin would never reduce it to br1), where it becomes a waste of an event gun due to being way too weak.

“b-but muh historical accuracy”
→ historical accuracy is one metric of many that decide how the game assets should be.
→ this is a rare prototype that has no historical relevance. the only relevance & utility it brings to the game is being a fun, rare, useful gun NOT by advancing historical accuracy (as important assets do, like mp40, t34, garands etc)
→ brute forcing HA into this gun makes it unplayable, leading to no progress at all, as historically accurate guns that no one will want to play/grind for are not an improvement of the game
----> making this gun playable & worth collecting is more important than the mag detail.
there were no 15 round mags, so we’re stuck with either 10 or 30. BUT: if someone’s historical accuracy autism is too triggered, he can just pretend its a manually modified 30 round mag that got shortened in a field workshop. no one would waste his time for something like that irl, but its technically possible, and the german army having 3 of these types of modifications is plausible.

edit: I’d love seeing people being so enthusiastic about actually relevant game deficits, like gaijin STILL refusing to downrank all the overtiered tank destroyers by 1 BR, or weapons of highest historical relevance like the MP40 being powercrept so much it needs a reasonable buff to stay prevalent in the matches so people feel like they are actually in ww2.
or obvious details like the mp40-S still being br2 instead of br1 as its equivalent british squad (the mp40-S is weaker than the mp40 due to a few numbers nerfed).

That’s why it should be the Rifleman weapon instead of Assaulter and downtiered to BR2 where even with 10 rounds it would be usable and not nerf your Assaulter squads and make Engineers more powerful too.

When it comes to this this is the most stupidest thing I’ve ever seen because all you’re doing is adding more things to the slippery slope and pushing us further into nonsense land so one day it won’t be weird if people start asking for Call of Duty nonsense next.

I’m a die hard HA defender, but the 15rds is the one exception I make, as 10rds would honestly be pointless

your missing the point that its a marginal, irrelevant part of the game. in 1 year this weapon will be close to never seen on the battlefield. what matters is, that the incoming event contains quality content for people to play this game to avoid losing even more players.

the slippery slope argument is almost always used in a wrong way, as it only applies in cases with significant relevance. this fringe mkb prototype is not significant or releavant at all.

people just oversperg hard for this absolutely minor thing. and in their sperging these people dont understand that “winning” this argument just ruins the gun and then no one wins because there is no playable new gun added to the game.

Don’t you start to because first it starts with small things and until it turns into a mountain and this will be the ending result.

Dog, I stopped playing cod because of that shit. There are cases where I draw the line (the winchester event gun, for example) 5 extra rounds is a reasonable gameplay improvement.

You do realise there’s a thing called buffing things or changing the numbers right and we already know gaijin messes within numbers and things like that so we can go that path or we can go down the stupid path.

Besides, I like to pretend that some of my engineers made a modification to the magazine in the field.

It starts small and then it will start spiralling out of control and then we’ll end up like call of duty eventually so we either draw a line or don’t bother at all.

And if you need a damn bloody example then look at the soviets and they’re in fantasy land and if not that then look at BR1 body armor nonsense lineups.

Bro it’s not that deep bruh

I know, and exactly thatswhy i dont want gaijin to nerf this gun. we all saw how gaijin tried to “balance” the scotti rifle, which turned out to be the most idiotic thing ive seen in gaming balance history (and i witnessed mtg balancing as a professional player for many years).

once gaijin fucks something up, you can forget about it being properly corrected unless you wanna wait for 2 years. dont give gaijin any more chances to fuck things up than it already has.

also you dont need to overdramatize this situation, there is no nicki minaj or lil pump coming out at the end, this is - once again - nothing but a small random gun that currently is barely playable and we all know the moment gaijin touches this gun it will be fucked and unplayable, so dont take any risks.

And it’s that way of thinking which will send us into the nightmare
