So i know this can only be bought when premium is active (which should be without btw.) and my question is, does the +1 squad available in battles are still active when you dont have premium (anymore), or do you (really) only get 1 additional squad with the other 2 more with premium?

They are permanent.
Iām waiting for them to add the option to buy them without premium.
