Do you play with zoom on or off?
Until now i was playing only with zoom, but i gave myself a challange to play without it and tbh it felt strangly good and satisfying. I performed very well, above my average. I wish i could adjust how zoom i’d want for each weapon (or in general) so i could leave some zoom for rifles bcs that’s a pretty tough nut to crack.
What you mean for zoom on and off?
yep i forgot you can actually switch between those two, i tried that but i couldn’t find convinient way to do so, as i am holding my RMB while ADS and binding zoom onto another key is a nono
“Not zoom” merely means “shouldered arm without aiming down it’s iron sight”.
More stable than hipfiring. Less precise than when ads. But surprisingly useful with lmgs…
You know you can set zoom as ‘sticky toggle’ so you don’t have to hold the button ?
I’ve set my controls to do that now as I was finding it harder to aim while holding right-mouse button (on PC). Now I can just click RMB to zoom in and it stays zoomed-in until I press RMB again to zoom back out.
Takes a bit of getting used to - but once you start doing it without thinking it’s so much easier.
i tried to find a sweet spot and i couldn’t.
I’d love to have like:
this way I could zoom in if I’d need to.
right now i can somehow do this but with holding shift pressed, and this somehow throws me off a little.
it’s all about details 
I call them “CQC sights”. Especially useful on snipers when you need to clear a cap or building.
I always zoom, i like to see their faces 
Not zooming is great too, illusion of being more stable
But you CAN set your controls to do all that - quite easily.
However, I’d recommend something a lot simpler…
1 - Tap RMB to ADS (default)
2 - Hold RMB to toggle zoom (sticky toggle).
3 - Tap SHIFT to toggle zoom as well if you want that. (again, sticky toggle).
But if you want to do what you described it’s easy to setup.
well there’s two issues:
I’m used to holding RMB no matter what and I’d like to keep it this way, and secondly even if I could get used to it, there is a problem that when i release the RMB i go to aiming with no zoom again which throws me off completely.
Honestly i might as well start playing without the zoom entirely, there’s cqc mostly anyway so that’s might be the reason I found myself performing better
Ah sorry man I can’t be bothered to explain if you can’t be bothered to figure out the solution yourself. It’s really not that hard to setup - just use your brain.
