how about a game mode like “confrontation” we have now, but instead of having 5 capture points, we have a single rectangular/eliptical cap point, that moves around the map as it is being captured (and spawn points along with it), team wins when the zone reaches the far end of enemy side of the map
How is it different than the current confrontation?
actually, rather than creating new game mode, i’d like to see it being replaced with this
i believe it would make use of parts of map that are currently just being skipped
What I don’t understand is what your suggestion will change.
Maybe an exemple or a drawing can help.
So confrontation with a square instead of circle? Stop beign so racist aganaist the circle
#circlelivesmatter
it has to be at least eliptical to cover map
so, the red circle is control point, depending on which team is currently “capturing” it, it moves around the map, should blue team take control of it, it slowly progresses towards black team’s side of the map, when it would reach a certain point (marked with black circle) the blue team would have won
the blue and black “x” marks represent each team’s spawn points, which move along with control point
this cap point would have to be huge, so each team could attack and attempt to control it from diffrent flanks, if required for balance, it may even momentarily change its shape on some maps (so its curved)
i didnt played tf 2, but zone should be able to move in both sides and should be quite big, to keep balance: for example, from one to other end on moscow village (how is that map with burning houses called again?)
