This gun was designed by the Czechs before the end of the war and produced on a very small scale(like RD44) , which uses 7.92*33 Kurz cartridge. If it had been in Berlin it would be suited as gunner III weapon and the counterpart to the RD 44.
I don’t play Berlin so correct me if I’m worng, but aren’t Russians the ones that need counterparts to german MGs?
No. Because he’s talking about this:
It’s a russian lmg that SHOULD be unlocked later. We just don’t know what the germans will get as equivalent so he proposed one.
Problem is I doubt that Czech lmg could be any better than a mg42 (maybe with an ammo belt?) Or the mg34 with 75 bullets…
Rpd I’ll actually be a worst mg34 with 75 ammo mags.
If, it comes as alpha variant was.
Gun was actually pretty bad.
Really? That’s surprising, I was certain it would be very good. If that’s the case it’s still fine however, because as asymmetrical balance goes, it’s good lmgs are for Germany and good smgs are for soviets. Still, I wonder what will the German unlockable be, when the soviets get the rpd. Only thing I see that could be “better” on Germany side is a mg42 with belt ammunition… more bullets, like the mg34 with the 75 magazine
Rpd had (on alpha) massive vertical recoil per bullet fired.
Comparing a mg34 to a rpd, it’s pretty much an m1a1 to a ak47 in every fps game.
I played multiple matches with it on the Berlin alpha test, wasn’t the gun I would run with.
But, that said, it can come right now with enough recoil changes that would make it better.
Also, the Fedorov avtomat on Berlin alpha, (a rare gun to see since it was the last campaign level avaiable) was actually 10x better than current avs, but way worst comparing to stg.
StG, was, a polish bar with even less recoil.
StG was, so far, the best gun in the game.
The stg in berlin could come half what it was, and still be the best weapon on the game. Serious.
It is fair, as that weapon is probably the most iconic firearm of the war, with maybe the ppsh. Being the Grandpa of modern assault rifles also comes with a certain prestige.
I do hope it will NOT be super nerfed, like we see in too many other games of the genre…
I hope that too.
But again, so far, it was the best gun enlisted saw so far. (my honest opinion since I played with it)
Why it was worse than sTg?
Ammo count per mag (25 to 30) and recoil per bullet fired.
Same virtual time to kill. Lower firerate than the stg.
Also stg iron sights give a clear picture comparing to the avtomat.
StG iron sights are amazingly done in this game.
I m waiting patiently for it.
+, I waiting for the StGs so hard, idc about what would be the soviet counterpart, I’m agreed on everything just to get this perfection
T-54…
why you are so evil XD
JU188 then, asap XD
Cause after too much years at playing warthunder i learned how the snail balance things
nah you will have a biautiful M 262 but without bomb load
Kurz ammo is weaker than regular mauser, I guess less recoil would be the only upside to this but I fail to see how it would be any better than a 75 drum MG34. If there is a further upgrade to German MGs down the line I would rather see a 200 belt MG42 where you get one reload that includes a barrel change.
Pretty much my guess too. Belt fed lmgs ARE coming I’m certain of it. If only because usa needs it’s 1919 and that thing was really mostly belt fed only.
Horizontal is more important I believe, as long as vertical is not horribly massive like FG42 or AVS36. In CRSED the 7.62 * 39 M43(10) does one more damage than 7.92 * 33 Kurz(9). No idea what it would be in enlisted, since CRSED still used the old health value system in which you get 20 health by default like it was in the alpha test of Berlin. But if it was able to does more than 10 damage in 10m it would definitely be better than 7.92 Kurz.
I came across your interesting article while searching for RD44.
I have a question to you
please forgive my rudeness
I expect tier3 assulter to come out in berlin (next update)
axis definitely will gets STG44…
and I don’t know what redarmy will get.
i think its federov
was FEDROV a weapon that could be used by engineers and troopers?
Or was it an assulter’s weapon?
If the red army in the past got Federov
What did Axis got?
I often see people claiming to get AS44 on this and other enlisted sites.
Did As44 exist during the alpha test?
Hi there.
So far we didn’t saw AS.
The alpha variant for soviets was indeed the Fedorov. And as the stg was avaiable just for assaulters.
The as didn’t exist in none alpha I did took part.
The 3 weapons we are yet to see again from alpha were the stg, (rpd) rd44 and Fedorov.
If you are interested. Here you can check all the weapons in enlisted so far

ok thx! So, was the federov an assulter weapon? When the Soviet Union got federov, what did the axis got? thanks for your kind reply!
