The ZK423 is an experimental Czech machinegun chambered in either 8mm Kurz or 8x35 Rapid intermediate cartridges. It is fed from 50rnd link belts and has a modest firerate of 650 RPM. In practice, it would essentially be a heavier sturmgewehr with higher capacity and a bipod for machinegunners to use.
A weapon like this should go to the tech tree to provide an Axis counterpart to the USSR’s RD44. Keep in mind, the ZK423 would still be weaker than the RD44 due to having a lower ROF and half of the ammo capacity, but nonetheless it would give Germany a squad automatic weapon.
If the developers deem it necessary, the damage could be very slightly increased to account for the noticeable capacity and ROF drawbacks when compared to other BR5 machineguns.

if you’re a USA player who is going to complain about this, you guys have the ANM2 stinger as the most busted machinegun in the entire game /s

And what equivalent will the Soviets get for the MG42 100? What about Japan and the USA? (Yes, I read the note below, but it is not a TT weapon.)

Based on the note below, I misunderstood you and thought you were being biased. My mistake.
And when did ANM2 get into the research tree? Show me in the research tree

I think there was a Belt fed version of BAR. We could give the Americans a BAR with 100 round.

Yes, yes, joke, but I didn’t believe you. Don’t translate Arrows
They already have overpowered RD-44 they don’t need new inferior MG.

The USSR has two machine guns, each with 100 rounds.
And I would choose the RD-44 over the MG 42 100 any day.

None have the same rate of fire.
I also don’t understand why some players here are complaining about “why nation XY has nothing”, instead of making some effort and creating a few own posts with suggestions

Why do all weapons always have to have exactly the same rate of fire?! The MG 42 100 has a higher rate of fire, but has significantly worse weapon handling than the RD-44
If you want a new MG / buff for Russian MGs, you can create a separate suggestion for it - players don’t always have to discuss it under other posts where someone makes a weapon suggestion for another nation

By this logic, Germany also has two MGs with 100-round magazines.
And about this, The note he left at the bottom of the thread was a bit sarcastic, which is why I wrote it.
Yes, and? Both are equal in that case. But the ZK423 isn’t a 100 round MG - it’s a 50 round MG.

Well, the discussion was about the need for something similar to the RD 44.
You’re right on that point. IMO, the AXIS are very well equipped with the MG 42 100.
I’d still gladly take the ZK423, but I’d rather go with the BR IV

Wouldn’t it make more sense to put it on BR IV, instead of BR V?
According to sources ROF was about 650.
Maybe give it 9,6 damage? And like the RD-44 good gun handling?
The perfect options for MG 42 100 counterparts for USA, USSR and Japan, respectively.

Well, I never had a problem with more weapons. I play almost all factions (Much less Japan). But I would like other factions to have a high variety like the Germans. So I would like to focus more on the other factions right now.
