Considering historical use of semi auto rifles in tunis, there is no reason why should Zh-29 be implemented to Tunisia Axis, was that weapon even there ? i dont think it belongs there even when i love that rifle overall
My friends and fellows from Enlisted italian community, also me were givin this forum many suggestions in the past about suitable Italian semi auto rifle idea that would be beautiful to implement in Tunis.
For example:
Carcano M1891 Semi auto conversion
Pavesi PG semi auto rifle
Beretta M1918/30 carbine
Beretta Mod. 1937 semi auto rifle
To be added to campaign itself not for gold order
Im calling for reconsideration also on behalf of our discord Italian community group that was making suggestions for italian faction ever since its introduction
i get it you want Enlisted to be as cool as it can possibly get so adding one of those surely makes sense, yet you decided to choose ZH-29
if you listen to community please reconsider ZH-29 or G41
Copy and paste is easier than making new models. They seem quite lazy about adding unique weapons and vehicles even for premium squads. But its easy money and thats all that matters to Gaijin.
Ofc, this approach is unfortunately visible troughout entire game, but players feedback and suggesting is integral part of it and i would be glad if our suggestions were listened and considered because we are not suggesting irrational stuff
Edit: I do not of course consider Copy and pasting a bad thing, in many cases it would help like putting ZK-383 in moscow for example, but sometimes its just better to create new weapon instead imo
I wish they would just copy paste stuff like the Lewis gun and Churchill (think theres a valentine too) to Britain. You know, the nations they actually belong to and “provided” to Russia. Drives me nuts Russia gets them and not the Brits.
Seemingly lazy copy and paste yet again. Kind of sad really there is quite a lot of potential with the Tunisian campaign in terms of what other Italian equipment they could add.
However they just choose to copy and paste when they could add more unique stuff keeping the campaign a lot more fresh and interesting.
Considering people have made quite a few threads about the Tunisia weapon choices and how to make it better and have a better variety, either the devs have not read the threads or they have and just have ignored the feedback sadly. Then again they may have read the feedback and are going to do something about it at some point.
Well, Gewehr was in Tunisia. Soo i see no problem for it to be in campaign, especially when there is German squads that can be equiped with that weapon.

How about the M28 Tromboncino ? im betting alot of players will be more dissapointed when they added that instead of ZH-29. because its just another GL rifle
We have Tunis campaign with german italian faction (which itself is different approach than other current campaigns) and we are getting Zh-29 which is completely foreign weaponry and im not ok with that, this campaign is played differently and this differentiation should be preserved even when it comes to weaponry, therefore more italian stuff please
I would love more Italian stuff as well, tbh i play only Italian weapons in Tunisia. ZH is just bullshit and shoudnt be there, but i guess they didnt had time to model something new and went with something they have modeled.

Bad news is they probably wont change it ever, they just made a decision that this weapon is going to be there and thats it … and i heavily dislike this approach
Many players are definitely not pleasantly surprised about it, especially those who really made an effort to search for something more suitable/appealing and took a time to formulate a suggestion here that had to look interesting and be informative
Everybody can see this laziness and (DoingUnderPressure) approach where copy pasting on dev side is exploited way too much and campaign is the victim
Nice move of them, they added ZH “Because there is no Italian weapons” but added new Italian semi-auto as Premium, what a joke. And they even have German uniforms.
