Maybe it’s a skill issue but imo ZB in inferior to MG13 that is unlocked earlier and has lower BR. Both stat weise and due to the magazine obstructing the view.
I think a small buff wouldn’t hurt.

Nah, they’re about as good as each other. Guns in this game are generally balanced off of fire rate and ammo capacity (for some reason). The zb-26 fires faster and arguably is more controllable?
If anything, I’d just put it into tier 2. It’s not as good as an mg34 or BAR or DP27 and it isn’t really any better or worse than the other offerings at tier 2.
LMG minimum BR should be lowered by 1.
No reason for all LMGs to start at BR2. Leads to weird circumstances where LMGs are arbitrarily placed in random BRs even when their performance doesn’t justify the placement.

Buffing its recoil so it can be a pseudo BAR or type 96 could be good for weapons variety so it can finally get actual use, unlike in the old Tunisia/Moscow.
