Hi guys and girls I need a bit of advice as regards buying a new graphics card. For sure I know I need an upgrade as I am getting some lag while in the heat of battle using my Envidia geforce 970. It runs fine right up until all the bombs landing from planes, mortars and anti aircraft guns all going off at the same time. I can`t afford top of the range but would like to know if you are using a graphics card for a reasonable price with no lag issues that you could recommend for me…thank you in advance for any help… Swan 
I do play on a Asus tuf dash 15 with 11780h and a nvidia 3060
I run the game from 100 to 200 fps at any given time all ultra. Even if I stream with it.
It’s an amazing grafic card for the price when there was no grafic cards so a gaming laptop was almost a no brainer for cost / what I got.
I don’t know how the current grafic card market sits or how much extra you have to pay over base price. But a 30 series nvidia will be more than enough for years to come.
I use my laptop as a “desktop”. And I couldn’t care less If it will last 1 year or 2 the way I abuse it.
24/7on either mining or playing games. And not a single overheat issue or crash so far.
Fucking beast of a laptop for the price.

How much did you pay for the nvidia 3060 if you don`t mind me asking?
I know I need one of those to future proof my pc but funds are tight right now

Costed 1249 euros in Portugal coz it’s the 165 hz panel. But laptops/gaming laptops tend to be cheap on my country.
Same laptop with the 60 hz was 1100 euro.

I know. I just stated that coz a laptop gpu it’s inferior to the desktop variant and so far it did run everything with not a single issue. Even streaming and recording at same time. Ence why my feedback.

wait for the new 4000 series or try to find an old 1080/1080ti that graphic card still hold today
btw i have a 1070ti and dont have problems gaming at High/medium.

I semi dread the day I’ll finally decide to treat me a new pc. I know I wont be able to restrict myself and will grossly exaggerate… May my wife forgive me then…

That’s kinda meh to old or keep on a 3 Gen old gpu and expect a decent game experience.
I know funds to spend on a gaming hobby are limited but still, OP should try to get a newer Gen to be able to play now and tomorow max settings, not bottleneck himself.

And always waiting for the next Gen isn’t the answer. He needs it now. Makes no sence to buy a overpriced last Gen one when you can get a 3060 in newegg for example for 409 euros/dolars.

I had a gtx 1030 and the game was fine, everything at minimum, except in Berlin there it went down to 15 fps

Yes, but at least in the other campaigns, I could play “comfortably”, but currently I already changed my 1030 for a 3060

I know that feel, but trust me, it’s so worth to own a current Gen computer and play the game how it was designed to be played with not a single bottleneck
Night and day diference.
I always change my rig every 2 years or so. Even selling old one at decent prices.isnt a bad way to keep up with the market with little to none extra costs.
On the other hand, for example cellphones I keep them as long as they work lmao. My priorities are fked up I know x)

thats the budget he has, especially now the GPU cost a fuck ton more.
he ask for a GPU that doesnt have lag issue with this game and doesnt costs 1000€, a good 1080ti can be found at 400/500€.
if you want to see It 2/3 years from now yes its a bad deal, but this are the current prices.
If you read what I stated, you can buy a 3060 on newegg for what you state a 1080 costs right now.
So no, old gens right now aren’t worth.

in this case yes a 3060 Is a Better deal.
a 3060 on 400/500$ Is good, if you dont want a 3000 series buy only a GPU that can get you by playing cuurent games at High/medium search for a 1080/ti at 200$
