Your feedback about last update

Regarding the current update. With a few exceptions in certain maps here and there, like in Quarry map for example (let’s just get a rid of that map altogether lol) To my surprise I’ve been having a lot of fun playing Moscow maps in high br. The way I see it, it brought fresh and new life to an otherwise stale map pool for hight tier Soviets and Germany, specially Soviets as they only had 2 campaigns in high br before this test. And playing Berlin over and over gets tiresome very quick.

Although at this point I wouldn’t even call it ‘Battle of Moscow’ anymore. For starters, it’s not like there’s very recognizable landmarks anyways unlike with other campaign maps. I’m having a blast pretending it’s somewhere random in the eastern front during 1943-1944. Just played confrontation in Beloe Lake and Birch Grove map and it was absolutely brutal yet very fun. Now I’m waiting for Fortified District :cold_face: that one’s gonna be hairy for sure, but can’t wait to play it.

Previously if I wanted to have a wide selection of maps to play in, I had to make specific adjustments and compromises to stay in BR III, but now I can enjoy all maps.

I just want to say that I like this idea of testing out things in the main game for everyone to try out. I hope devs can gather plenty of feedback after this. And maybe later in the future we could have more tests for other stuff, such as bigger cap zones and incorporating more Big Action mod elements into the base game. I see a lot of room for improvement. This decision is not as bad as it was made out to be by certain comments I read. It’s just for a week after all, we’ll see.

Yep slowly noticed all helmet straps are still gone on German & US troops

  • Jets, I knew it was a bad idea since almost 3 years ago, because there was not a real way to realistically balance them, and here we are, with of course the one nation that used jets more widely having the most underpowered jets on acceleration, speed and agility and on top of that fire consistency.

  • Not being able to play my german paratroopers in lower BRs and being forced to face retarded jet spam if I ever dare to play them.

  • APCs having tracks made of butter and not being able to drive uphill.

  • Vehicle spawns being so uncarefully placed and getting to spawn inside houses, bomb holes between indestructible trees, etc.

  • Fire or bullet dispersion, it is so bad, it is the shittiest and most frustrating game mechanics ever made and implemented on a shooter game, I don’t think anyone has ever liked the mechanic itself.

  • Having to pay to remove perks from soldiers.

  • Having to purchase upgrades for either vehicles or weapons, having get the upgrade on top of researching the vehicle is good enough, it is abusive to have to purchase the upgrade for so many vehicles, so many weapons.

  • Weapons and vehicles no longer having 5 stars lvl, I did spend a lot on upgrading all my stuff for this to go away without any notice and not receiving silver for it at least.

  • Tank destroyers being same br as heavy tanks with way less fire power… why would anyone ever pick a stug over a pz IV by example, or a Panzer IV/70 (V) over a Tiger II?.

  • AA not being better at higher BRs despite planes getting way better.

  • Weapon upgrades being locked to a single squad instead of the squad class.

  • Lack of organization in game, it would be really nice that instead of having a guy that yells at you that half of the team tickets are gone and you have to try harder, the same guy could say, team could use rally point, we need to storm this building, something like that, something like mini objectives.

  • Goofy soldier animations.

What is not too easy to understand

  • New game menu for new players, any time I invite a friend to play the game they struggle to understand so many things.

  • Some weapon stats, as well as vehicles, I think the game should have a tutorial regarding vehicles, tanks and planes, for tanks mostly for the correct use of ammunition and for planes, anything that stops newbies from flying straight to the ground.

  • Soldier customization, overall, the new heads don’t even fit in the body as the old ones and not to mention how poorly implemented the clothing is. Also having to buy outfits that you have in one “campaign” already to be able to use them on another one.

  • Differencing allied artillery from enemy artillery, it would be nice to just, change the color of the artillery zone.

What you like

  • Sound effects.

  • Weapon models.

  • Vehicle models.

  • Game modes.

  • Game concept.

  • FPV even in vehicles.

  • Objective based game (kind of… I wish the game felt more about playing the objective than running into the enemy spawn in a best defense is offence way)
