You need to change the Beretta m38 20 shots, which is unlocked at level 30 in Moscow Germany, to 40 shots

At Moscow level 30, the Soviets receive a drum magazine of 71 rounds ppsh, while the Germans receive a Beretta m38 of 20 rounds. Beretta m38 20 rounds should be replaced with 40 rounds. Is the ppsh 71-round magazine and the Beretta m38 20-round magazine a good balance? At a minimum, the magazine of the Beretta m38 should be replaced with a magazine of 40 rounds.

Its perfectly fine where it is. Have you not seen the Sniper rifle we get at the end in Moscow? That more than makes up for it.

in addition mp35 is certainly not inferior to the berettaM38 so I do not see the problem

simple. 71 vs 20

really. is this what they want?

For germany, 20 rounds are too many.
Change to 10 rounds.
And their MG34 and MG42 are too strong, so change to bolt action MG. OK? >:(
Give flying T50 to soviet. cuz german tank are so strong!!!
plus remove MKB, MP43 and FG42 from germany! OK? >:(

Of course they do XD

You cannot look at two firearms and base their effectiveness over magazine capacity.
I will, 9 times out of 10 have that PPSH player dead to rights before he’s in range to do real damage.
And that 1 out of 10, I was probably storming a building.

The Beretta and MP35/1 are perfect Submachine Guns for Axis forces along with our sniper assault rifle…

you know MKB wasn’t AT moscow right? moscow ended in jaunary, and FG42 should be restricted because of it’s limited numbers there is more historical precedent for m2 to be multiclass but that was mostly for cold war conflicts

dev already answered about limit of period

At first I was baffled by the 20 round clip myself but the MP35 and Mkb are fine. Germany is more fun not being a 1 trick (PPD) pony that Russia is in Moscow

I dont think soviets need weapons at all, because ive killed so many germans wielding every gun they have with just knife.

Your logic is fking stupid.

I wish I could say I understood what you are getting at.
The Axis weapons are fine, and he is asking for a buff to them when they do NOT need one.

I am also comparing two different weapons in how they are supposed to be used. The Beretta is a much better gun at range, and usually I can down the player with the PPSH before he is in proper range to engage, and when he is, I am usually dead.
Its not logic. Its just how the weapons work.
His logic is comparing a Range oriented SMG to a CQB one.

For some odd reason due to your previous argument Im not surprised at all.

Probably wouldnt ask for one then.

Far as I know SMG is CQC weapon, not a ranged weapon so your argument blew out of window right about there.

So its SMG that sucks at its intended role as CQC weapon BUT its better than best cqc weapon on range BUT yet still inferior to every each weapon intended for ranged fights.
Yeah sounds perfectly reasonable.

Rifle as secondary weapon > you have best CQC weapon > Your secondary weapon is better on range than the Beretta.
Yeah beretta is definitely worth picking.

Range oriented CQC weapon, one could wonder if theres something wrong with your sentence but il just leave it there.

The 1938 series was extremely robust and proved very popular with Axis forces as well as Allied troops, who used captured examples.[6] Many German soldiers, including elite forces such as the Waffen-SS and FallschirmjƤger forces, preferred the Beretta 38.[7][8][9] Germany manufactured 231,193 Beretta M38s in 1944 and 1945.[10] Firing a more powerful Italian version of the widely distributed 9Ɨ19mm Parabellum cartridge, the Cartuccia 9 mm M38 , the Beretta was accurate at longer ranges than most other submachine guns.[11] The MAB could deliver impressive firepower at close range, and at longer distances its size and weight was an advantage, making the weapon stable and easy to control. In expert hands, the Beretta MAB allowed accurate short-burst shooting up to 100 m (110 yd) and its effective range with Italian M38 ammunition was 200 m (220 yd)s, an impressive result for a 9 mm submachine gun.

So its clearly not what its supposed to be.

medium / long range smg this is, good for cqc as well, there is nothing else to add, the doctrine of using automatic weapons for assault teams was completely different from nation to nation during that time, and Europeans opted for assault weapons to medium / long range, the Russians instead for short range assault weapons, end of story

PPSH and PPD were long-range and accurate.
But not reliable enough.
Therefore, in 42, the PPSH with 35 bullets appeared.

20 round mag is just as impressive as the first SMG mp28 as theres not even significant dmg differency between them. Infact is there DMG differency at all ?

The Model 1938 can be recognized by its machined steel receiver, fine craftsmanship and finish and by the perforated cooling jacket over the barrel.[12] It was produced from 1938 to 1950 and fired 9Ɨ19mm Parabellum ammunition at 600 rounds per minute. It used 10, 20, 30 or 40-round magazines; the short 10-round magazine, when used in conjunction with the fixed bayonet, was popular with Allied and Axis forces for guarding prisoners or internal security.[11][13] In combat, the 30 round magazine was the most common.

Except the soviet SMG’s can fight at range just fine, sure they might be slightly inferior but not as notably as the axis smgs are inferior in cqc.

I am not talking about the game but about reality, the weapons were used by real soldiers, and in a real battle a weapon with a high rate of fire like the ppd was really useless from long range combat, instead a weapon like the beretta M38 and mp40 they were much more stable and able to fight at any distance, in video games things like real performance are only simulated using an arcade approach (because it is a game) and since you cannot invent other weapons than those that were actually used, we try to balance everything, but with results that do not reflect reality

So compare weapons is stupid if they dont are 100% identical to their real counterpart
