You man babies got what you wanted

I own almost every premium squad that makes sense, and bought every useful gold ticket wep/veh
so, i spent ALOT

First time i’m agreeing with you. Removing all progression and grind, and make everything worthwhile, not an “vertically upgraded” would make this game soooo much better

Personaly i think even removing whole XP would have been better so people who really enjoyed those matches could still enjoy them.

That’s true it would’ve been great to at the very least leave the bots in so that we who liked it, could still enjoy it. But even then I don’t think it’s all that outrageous for them to have left some amount of XP gain in so that it can still be part of the game’s “economy”. I say “economy” very loosely bc it’s barely even that. But yeah just with the grindy nature of the game, I don’t see it being bad if the players could at least earn a standard amount of XP from the matches. Not the fuckin TENS OF THOUSANDS you could see in those screencaps. That’s just outrageous.

But I was actually considering buying premium for once after the addition of this mode. I was considering spending more money like I never thought before, which would’ve just benefitted the devs here as other players would’ve been lured in as well. Idk, it just seems like a really bad quick bandaid patch for it overall  and it feels as though some sort of action definitely could’ve been taken rather than this extreme

Oh god you’ve really turned to the darkside  but if you’re having fun that’s all that matters.

Lol I wish that’s what he was saying here. He’s saying remove XP as a whole from the custom matches tho. Not the game itself. I wish that were the case  The game would be much better as it could focus on being an actual good game instead of being focused on monetizing itself.

OBT by the way
We as testers should be paid, just for fact

Raising enough on my job to be able to spend some fresh good Rubles on the game

Now, after fixing exp abuse, i’ll have it again. As it was said - it just a bandaid, i think they will make cap in a while

Okay, fix my words if i’m wrong
1: Releasing the game
2: Making it P2P
3:?
4: PROFIT ! Now you can gain money by selling the game, and remove monetization aspects from your F2P
5: You can remove grind of exp - company levels, and leave us squad levels, and order economics, that would be enough for creating the horizontal gameplay, at this point we will be able to
1st - remove all the unworthwhile equipment
2nd - make vehicles horizontally balanced, light tanks should get some pros and be useful on the battle field
And Hurray, you have an actually good game, because, well, there are no such grind at all in a Hell Let Loose for the example, and people love it for the GAMEPLAY, not for the game making them return everyday to grind some quests’n’orders

5: the game stops producing revenue after 1 year or 2 at best, save for maybe a few increasingly bullshitty DLCs, after which it gets discontinued and dies. The devs try ro repeat the process with a new game every time, constantly competing against COD, Battlefield and such.

Well, that means game is shit. Natural selection

Oh, about the bot cap. It still didn’t resolve the exploiting! Now, instead of slaughtering bots en masse, they will just gather their friends and take turns, where one will just stand on point and the rest will happily run into his fire. And then swap. Probably it won’t be as profitable as bot massacring, but still better than normal gameplay.

Really? There’s no way that’s a thing already

The moment they capped the bots, was the moment someone thought of that, and right now he is making arrangements for it.

Oh man, I wish I were that optimistic and hopeful for the game becoming P2P. That’s something I WISHED the game would’ve done a while ago. But actually, based on what I’ve heard from others in the community. The F2P model was voted for BY the community. They were given the choice of P2P with dlc’s and I think skins for monetization. But the community opted for the F2P model so that more people could have access to it.

I love the idea of the game becoming P2P tho and actually focusing on becoming a great game. But sadly my Russian friend, that’s not something that’s going to happen anytime in the future  especially not after they already have their F2P economy in the game that’s making them money. They really won’t listen to anything else at this point trust me on that

Or just that, after most of its potential customers pool has already bought it, not enough new money to feed paychecks and servers keeps flowing in.

Keep us updated here in this thread! I’m interested in seeing if they can actually pull that off lol. I wouldn’t wanna do it myself at all, but I’m curious to see what comes of that :o

The thing is that as long as you have a game that’s good, fun, and something that players actually enjoy. Then they will pay money for it. Even if it’s a paid product and not free people will go and spend money on it. Look at the games like Battlefield and even HLL. There are games in this sphere that are successful and that show it can be done. That is if the game is good enough to stand on it’s own as a paid product. Which Enlisted could imo if that was the true focus of the dev team. Rather than trying to make these shitty progression systems that are overly grindy in this F2P game.

Now obviously there are costs like server costs and the like which I do understand. But this is Gaijin we’re talking about. They make enough money off their whales to support this kind of thing. Especially if it would’ve been a paid product which would’ve essentially helped a ton with costs.

I mean there are so many better ways to ‘‘balance’’ this. This one ain’t it.

Completely agree. Im just trying to put myself in these developers minds to try to rationalize the insanity

Honestly, it seems like it was just a panicked decision that they made since they have the data on how people were exploiting it. They probably saw all the huge numbers and just saw dips in their profits, so they decided just to panic and put the worst possible stop they could’ve for this issue. It must’ve been that bad if it caused them to panic

Even then, good I’m glad they shit their pants. With how grindy and egregious the campaign lvl XP bars are, I don’t blame anyone for trying to exploit during this. But I definitely wouldn’t do it myself lol

I had plans to do some fun PVE bot matches with my friend this afternoon, now I don’t even wanna play anything. Gonna do school work instead.

Same
@47509533 and I were doing pvp with eachother with the rest of the slots filled by the bot terminators
Swapping between attacker and defender on different maps having a blast
What a joke

Dude my friend and I were hyped since Custom Matches were announced months ago, we finally get it the other day and now the main point of us playing it is fucking gone. Sure the EXP was cool but I’d trade less EXP for just having full size matches again.

Devs should have fixed the broken AI on some maps instead of downright nuking it.
