You man babies got what you wanted

“Exploited”. LMAO I love how you can change “Experience” to “Exploit”. Lmao this is why the game isn’t fun. Bc spoiled little babies like you have to have things your way constantly. OTHER people were having fun in your sandbox for once little kid. Stop being overly protective of it and let people have fun the ways they want. The bot lobbies were a fun way to get away from the metas of the game and a way to have a fun, chill experience. Focus on the experience for once and stop psychologically defending your own purchase. This was a great feature from a gameplay and experience standpoint and it’s sad that people like you are actually cheering on it’s butchering.

Literally all they have to do is add a cap on kill XP for custom games. Something like after 400 kills you dont get any more XP from kills, that way you cant just abuse it and kill 1500 bots and get a million XP.

This would have been the best decision IMO

Quadro, anything would’ve been better than just straight up butchering it like this… Even if it was just an XP cap I would’ve preferred that over this. Even tho the XP you gain from these matches is just standard and isn’t even exploitative…

Nah they listen only those who wants to let them make money :face_vomiting:

EDIT: No grind no money this is their policy

sure. its me who is crying cause i cant block my bot team inside spawn and farm infinite enemy bots that dont even target me… damn im spoiled

I mean, they said it was temporary lol. They probably just panicked because they saw people with 2k kills getting a million XP. Its beyond me how they didn’t seem to think this would happen though, its literally the first thing everyone said would happen when they announced custom games LOL

I’ve never even ONCE in all my hundreds of hours of playing have never done anything exploitative like that. I don’t have this grindy COD mindset like you do kid. I was actually playing normally and just trying to have some fun in this new mode. Something you clearly know nothing about.

They know it would happend, they didn’t think that it would happend that fast probably.

Precisely, there’s no way they couldn’t see that coming. I mean, it was so easy to see what would happen with bot lobbies lol. But I hope that’s just a temp change man. I didn’t see where they stated that specifically but I hope that’s correct.

I also think that limiting the number of custom mode AIs is bad.Obviously, the matching mode is full of AI, but they do not allow players to kill AI in the customization, which makes the customization nondescript.I think they might as well delete the matching mode and let the customization become the main mode.

Lets be honest… abusability of custom matches was predicted from the very beginning.
It is true, that limiting the amount of bots is not really a solution… the very core of the problem is exp gain in matches that players set up in their favour for grind/exploit purposes…

It is still exploitable, I just played a match against one bot squad, if I stay out of the objective, I could keep farming them for eternity.

Yes they should remove that 2 bots … because no FUN allowed :upside_down_face:

The thing is that realistically, who tf is gonna grind this? The tedium and bordem you experience during this is way too much for anyone. It’s definitely not worth it unless you have premium. Which then I’d understand. But for your average F2P joe this XP is literally nothing in the vast pond that are the XP bars for higher lvls.

If a progression system is bad, players will find every single tiny way to abuse and exploit it, no matter how boring, tedious, or stupid. Destiny, The Division, and many, many MMO’s all have proved this. The core issue at hand here isn’t really custom games, it’s that progression is so shit that people would rather sit in a bot lobby for 3 hours instead of playing the game normally

EDIT: also yes, before someone says it, SOME people will always exploit. But it wouldn’t be a big problem like it is here

People: find an exploit to farm and grind faster
Devs: remove / block the exploit

Well in those it’d actually be worth it for some sort of rare item or something you can show your friends. But there’s almost nothing like that here. Sure you do get various weapons and vehicles but that’s about it. In no one’s mind would this shit be worth it. Especially considering there are multiple campaign trees for each various faction. I can see that grind being a thing in other MMO’s, but in Enlisted, I can’t see anyone actually taking the time to grind thru just bots. With other MMO’s I think that’s something that’s a different story considering their loot systems and the ways they monetize themselves.

I don’t see frustration incentivizing buying in at all though
I see it making people stop playing

This 1000000000%! Making your game intentionally shit and then selling players your solution to make it less bad is AWFUL game design.
