To be fair I wouldn´t mind at all if all premium squads could receive engineer (or have option to use one). That one needs to be said before I get accused of being “shitter who does not want whales to have nice things.”
However, equipping him with automatic weapon as the rest of the squad is just disgusting as it moves us slowly back in the CBT when these squads were generally disliked because of exactly this reason… and now they will have engineer as well. 
(of course, not talking about individuals who enjoyed abusing the hell out of it)
